Carnival Fun

Garroth's POV

I was having a really nice day! The birds were singing, the sun was shining, the Laurance was running to me...

Wait

The Laurance was running to me??

"G...GARROTH!" Laurance puffed out, breathing heavily. "Um...Laurance? You okay there bud?" I said, patting his back. "Yeah...I just wanted to ask if...huff...you...w...wanna go with me to the carnival...t..tonight..." He said, trying to catch his breath. I chuckled and gave a thumbs up. "Sure! It sounds fun." Laurance smiled brightly at me. His smile seems to calm me down all the time. Wait, am I talking about that? Ahah...Um...moving on. "Okay. See you tonight by the corner of the street. I'll lead you there." Laurance winked and gave a paper to me before going away. I stood there and looked down at the paper, then back at him. "A..alright. See ya.." I said, blushing softly.

I woke up from a short nap and looked at the clock. "Six - Forty Seven....Okayy...Wait...SIX - FORTY SEVEN?!" I yelled throughout the house. Zane went out of his room and sighed. "What is with you and the time today?! This is the third time!!" He shouted at me. I rushed pass him and got ready to go to the carnival. Zane facepalmed and went back to his room. I rushed out of the house and ran to the corner to see Laurance waiting. "Oh, hey Gargar!" Laurance smiled and waved. I blushed slightly because of hearing my nickname. "G..Gargar?...." I stuttered out, fiddling with my hands. "Oops, I was ment to say Garroth. Sorry." Laurance chuckled nervously and grabbed my hand. I blushed even more and smiled nervously, "H..hey...It's okay to call me G..Gargar..." I said, slowly pulling him to me. "I..I like it that way." Laurance blushed and looked away. "....Come on then, let's go to the carnival. Don't wanna be late, do we?" He said, grinning. I nodded and walked with Laurance to the carnival. It was pretty dark on the way there. When we made it to the carnival site, we saw lights.

Beautiful, colorful, and wonderful lights.

It reminded me of how Laurance brightens up my day.

"Nice carnival, ain't it?" He asked me, putting his hands in his pockets. "Yeah...Nice.." I said, smiling. "Cmon then. Let's go have some fun!!" He ran towards the entrance, yelling. "Bet you can't catch me!!" He laughed and continued to run. "LAURANCE COME BACK HERE!!" I shouted and ran after him. We were like a cat and mouse running around. Finally, I caught him and pinned him down. Of course...we were in an awkward position at that very moment. Third time this has happened. "Um, G...Garroth?" Laurance said, blushing intensely. I quickly got up and apologized. "Hey, it's okay buddy. Let's forget about that." Laurance said, holding his hand out. I held his hand and followed him around the carnival. We rode on so many rides, and some even made me cry out of fear.

The final ride we went on was the ferris wheel. "Laurance, please no--" I said, trying to walk back. He grabbed my arm and dragged me to our seat. "C'mon, scaredy cat." I whined and tugged him back before he pulled me into the seat with full force. "You're going with me." He said, grinning. "Nooooo..." I curled up into a ball and hugged my knees. "Calm down Gargar...this is just a little ride.." He said, leaning close. I blushed intensely. "Um...C..can you move back? I need to get up..." He leaned back and let me get up. A few minutes later, we were at the very top of the ferris wheel. "Nice view, ain't it?" He asked, leaning by me. I nodded and hugged him. "It is even better when you are here..." I smirked at him. I noticed a light shade of pink across his cheeks. "Aww~ You're blushing!~" I said, slowly pinning him to the wall. "D..dude, too close." He said, blushing even more. "..T..take a step back." I shook my head and got closer. "Nah~" I grinned and looked at him in the eye. "What are you doi--- MMPH?!" I kissed him on the lip and made it stay like that for a few seconds. I slowly stop and smile at him. "..G..Garroth?..." He said, confused. "What was that for?..." I laughed silently. "For love of course."

"Oh...."

After the ride, we went back to the corner. "Well...I'll see you tomorrow, Garroth?" Laurance asked, still blushing softly. "Of course!....And please..." I leaned in and kissed him on the forehead. "Call me Gargar if you wish to." Laurance looked away for a second before giving a kiss back. "Okay Gargar. Let's go home?" I nodded in response and held his hand, our fingers intertwined. "Let's."

While walked, we started to have yet another conversation.

"Laurance?"

"Yeah?"

"Why didn't you wait for me at the house?"

"It's kinda funny to see you running after me, y'know."

"Meanie!!"
