You Can Fear Forever, or You Can Fight Fate

***Angels POV***

The images continued to flash through my head. Silvio's evil laugh echoing throughout the room as he pulled the trigger. The blood looking around Anata's cold body. It was utterly painful. The betrayal. The loss.

As a Tempo... I must do whatever it takes to stop this premonition from coming to life. I must protect Giotto, the Vongola Family's future.

By the time no more tears could fall from my eyes, it was already dinner time. Hours had passed, Rebecca hadn't said a word. She held me in her arms till I was able to calm myself and think. It was the reason she was always there for, why she was my personal maid.

An emotional support to lean on, an understanding hand to hold, ears to listen carefully. A friend I need in my life.

My vision flashed from Giotto in a pool if blood, to another unknown woman, to a familiar face. I shut my eyes tight, throwing the last image to the back of my unconsciousness. I held onto Rebecca tightly one last time before getting up. She was here, at this present moment. There was no point in thinking of past, and if any future tries to take her away from me... I shall defy it. Fate has lost its place in my life.

Destiny can be controlled, but not Fate. Destiny means there are opportunities to turn right or left, but fate is a one-way street. We all have the choice as to whether we fulfil our destiny, but fate is sealed.

It didn't matter what I was taught about fate or destiny... if Fate decides to take away the people I love, she can think again cause I won't give them up without a fight. The vision of the future has given me an even stronger resolution.

ANGEL:"we should head to the dining room, dinner should be ready soon and I can't have them wondering why longer where I have been for the last million years. I'm sorry for staining your uniform with tears and thank you for being here for me"

She gave me a quick hug, before taking my hand and leading me to the dining room. I was grateful, but wondered if she knew I didn't know my way there.

REBECCA:"my lady I was chosen by your father to watch over you since you arrived here. At first you were an impenetrable wall, nothing I did could get you to smile or laugh. Of course things were able to change for the better between us... when you come to me in need means alot to me. To know I am seeked by you, wanted by you, I couldn't be happier."

I was about to say something when she opened the big doors to the dining hall.

GIOTTO:"Bella! There you are. Come join us."

I walked towards my seat, I glanced at everyone already seated.

Beautiful. This familia is beautiful. Everyone. Everything. I will do whatever it takes to protect this happiness.

Grabbing into Anata's hand, I took a seat beside him on his left side.

GIOTTO:"Bella? Is everything okay? Your eyes look red..."

ANGEL:"Hai Anata, Rebecca and I were sharing some funny stories and laughed too hard for too long."

I am sorry Anata for lying to you... but please... for your sake don't listen to your intuition...

GIOTTO:"I'm glad she was able to keep you busy while i was working. What else did you do today?"

He took a mouthful of water.

ANGEL:"I fought Alaude"

Anata spat out his water onto Gs face and started coughing. I turned towards him and started patting his head hoping it would help.

ANGEL:"don't worry dear, I won. We hugged it out at the end so we're not on bad term "

I watched as Anata fell out of his chair. I looked forward when I heard a door slam. Anata sat back in his chair and also stared at the direction of the door. My eyes glanced at Alaudes seat, that was now empty. The rest of the guardians all slowly backed away from the table. I looked over to my right to see Anata fuming... quite literally.

My eyes widened. I attempted to grab his hand when he suddenly rocketed... his hands as the thrusters.

GIOTTO:"ALAUDE !!!!!!!!!!!"

I watched in surprise...  wow...

This is just a quick update, before I take a break. I'm going to be having bigger gaps in between my releases because I want to take more time to work and develop the relationship between my OC and the guardians, and also to release chapters for my other stories.
