Archie and I have been graduated from Riverdale High for 7 years now. We're now 25 years old.

My birthdays coming up but I haven't got any plans. I'm working and Archie is away.

I was at home one evening and my phone buzzed in my pocket. I took it out and smiled at the notification.
It was a message from Archie.

I opened up my messages and typed a quick reply and then continued watching tv. A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door.
"I wonder who that could be" I thought to myself.

I walked over after turning down the volume on the tv and unlocked the door and opened it. I gasped. "Archie what are you doing here?!" I asked, flinging myself into his arms.

"Hey. You didn't think I'd miss your birthday did you?" He asked, when we pulled from the hug.

"But I'm not planning anything." I said. "Still. I wanna be with you." He said, kissing me.

How did I get so lucky?

A couple days later, it was my birthday. I woke up and the space beside me in my bed was empty and cold. I got up out of bed and went to the bathroom. When I was done I threw on a hoodie and my slippers and headed downstairs.

"Happy birthday baby!!" Archie said, running to me, and kissing me while pulling me into his arms.

"Thank you Arch." I smiled. "Sit down. I made you breakfast."

I awed. "Archie you didn't have to." I blushed. "Yes I did. Eat up. We have a busy day ahead of us."

We ate in silence, occasionally breaking into fits of giggles because Archie kept staring at me, making me nervous, then I start giggling and then he laughs at me then it takes a while for us to calm down.

"Okay you go upstairs and shower and get dressed, and I'll be waiting here when you're done." I smiled, kissed his cheek and thanked him for breakfast and then headed upstairs and showered.

I headed downstairs after getting dressed.
