Chapter 15-Beach Day

(Cj's POV)

Daddy woke me up early.

"Get up Cj! Uncle Shay and I have a surprise for you and the kids!" Dad said.

I got up and ate breakfast. I got ready and Daddy was packing his backpack. He told me to put my swimming shorts and my swimming shirt on and he gave me my CTFxC hat.

We all went in the van and the truck and we drove to the secret place.

We went to the BEACH! We got out and and Aunt Colette set out a towel and a umbrella and Brock, Gavin, Emmi, Avia and I all ran into the ocean.

A wave crashed and knocked me off my feet. "You ok?" Gavin asked, helping me up.

"Yea. I'm alright!" I laughed.

We played in the water.

"Hey boys! Come build a sand castle with us!" Avia called. We ran over to them.

"PB AND J!" Brock and I screamed.

Uncle Shay gave us some chips. Our sandwiches were really good.

After lunch, we went back to the castle.

"Cj and Brock, you guys go collect shell to decorate the castle." Emmi said.

"Ok!" Brock and I said and walked to the shore.

"Wow! Look Brock, a pink shell!" I said and picked it up.

Brock picked up a few more. I saw a conch shell, so I picked it up. A crab crawled out and onto my hand.

I ran over to daddy to show him.

"Look Daddy!" I laughed as the crab crawled up. It tickled and then it fell off.

"Nice C!" Daddy laughed.

I went back over with Brock and got shells.

We went back over to Emmi and Avia and put the shells all over it. Uncle Shay and Daddy came over and vlogged it.

Brock and I waded into the water to our knees.

"OW!" Brock cried and fell. I ran over to him. I stepped on something sharp, and I felt it cut into my foot.

"DADDY!" I cried and grabbed my foot as I fell.

Uncle Shay and Daddy came running over to us. They picked us up and brought us to the blanket.

"They stepped on a broken bottle!" Gavin said as he ran over to us.

"I think they might need stitches." Daddy said, which made Brock and I cry even more.

"Guys, it's going to be ok!" Uncle Shay said rubbing our backs.

"We'll take to the ER. Maybe they can check it out." Daddy said.
L"Ok! I'll bring the kids home!" Aunt Colette said.

We drove in Uncle Shays truck to the hospital.

"Hey, our sons stepped on a broken bottle at the beach. Is there anything you can do soon?" Daddy said.

"We will send a doctor right away. We don't want them to loose any more blood." The nurse behind the desk said, paging a doctor.

"Hey boys! I'm Dr. Miller. I'm going to check your feet." Dr. Miller said when we sat on the table.

I'm really nervous.
