Chapter 5- Surprise!

(CJ's POV)

Mommy and Daddy thought I was asleep when they started to yell.

"CHARLES! WHY WERENT YOU WATCHING HIM?" Mommy yelled.

"I WAS ASLEEP ALLI! WHAT COULD I HAVE DONE?" Daddy yelled.

"UGH! CHARLES, YOU ARE SO IRRESPONSIBLE." Mommy yelled.

I started to cry. Mommy and Daddy never fight. I decided to get up and tell them it was my fault. They can't fight over something I did. I told them that Chico ran away, but I let him out.

"Mommy!" I cried from my bedroom. Mommy came running in. "What is it sweetie?" She asked. "Why are you yelling?" I cried. "Aw, sweetie, don't worry about it. Everything is ok." She said and she hugged me. "Goodnight CJ, I love you!" She said. "Love you," I said and rolled over and closed my eyes.

(Charles' POV)

Alli and I have just got in a huge fight over what happened today with CJ. I don't want to fight with Alli. I love her.

"See what you did?" Alli said walking out of CJ's room. "What did I do?" I asked. Why is she blaming this on me. She started it. "You made him cry. That is your fault. You know when you yell it makes him cry." She said. "Well, I'm sorry." I said. Tears came into Alli's eyes. She ran and hugged me. I hugged her back.

"I'm sorry Char. I don't know what got into me." She said. "It's ok." I said. And we went to bed.

*THE NEXT MORNING*

(Alli's POV)

Charles and I got in a really big fight last night. I don't even know why, but I just got really mad when he made a smart comment about what happened with CJ. I just lost it and started to yell. Then CJ started to cry and I didn't know what to do. I don't know what's going to happen.

I think I need to tell Charles.

"Char, can I talk to you?" I said bringing him into his office leaving CJ playing in the living room.

"What is it Alli?" he seemed annoyed. "What's wrong Char?" I asked him. "Nothin." He replied. "Um, I need to tell you something. I found out the other night." I said. "What?" He said.

"I'm pregnant!" I said. He started to cry. "You mean I'm going to have another kid?" He said smiling. "Yup!" I said. "Well, let's go tell CJ!" He said.

"CJ, sit down on the couch please. We need to tell you something." I said. "You know we love you, more than anything in the world right?" Charles asked him. He nodded yes.

"Mommy is going to have another baby!" I said. CJ just looked at me. Then he looked at Charles. Then back at me. And back to Charles. Is he mad, upset, stunned or happy. Then he got up and walked I his room. Oh no. He shut the door.

(CJ's POV)

Mommy is going to have another baby. What? Why? Do they not love me? Is that why they were fighting last night? I don't want a new baby. But at the same time I do want a new baby. I don't really know. Ugh. I flopped on my bed. I think I can change Mommy and Daddy's mind on having a new baby, then they won't have one. I walked out of my room. I think I really do want a new baby.

I saw Daddy hugging Mommy on the couch. She looked like she had been crying.

"Mommy?" I said. She looked up. "CJ, do you want a new baby?" She asked. "YES!" I said and ran to hug them. "Whew! We thought you didn't want a new baby CJ." Daddy said. "No, I'm excited to have a new baby!" I said.
