Chapter 12- Hes Coming Home

(Alli's POV)

I am terrified right now. Charles hasn't had a seizure since Cj was 2, and I got Lauren to watch him. But right now, Cj knows what's going on.

I tried to put on a brave face for my son.

The doctor came over to us.

"Alli Trippy, your husband hit his head really hard when he fell. We don't know how long he was unconscious. He just passed out again." The doctor said. "We need to keep him for a few days."

I looked over to Cj. He had tears in his eyes. I pulled him into a hug. He cried into my shirt.

"I'm sure he will be fine, but for now, he needs rest." The doctor said.

"Can we see him?" I asked.

"Sure, just be quiet." the doctor replied.

He lead us to Charles' room. I carried Cj, who had buried his head in my shoulder. My mom stayed with us, and came to the room with us.

We walked in.

"Char? You awake?" I whispered as we walked in.

"Yup. Come in." Charles said.

"Daddy!" Cj said running to Charles.

"Hey buddy! How was the park?" Charles asked him, sitting up.

"Good. Are you ok daddy?" Cj said climbing onto the bed beside Charles. Cj cuddles up to him.

"Yup. We might have to postpone our trip until next week. Is that ok buddy?" Charles asked him.

"Yup! I hope your going to be ok!" Cj said.

"Don't worry dude. I'll be fine. The doctor just told me I'll be home tomorrow." Charles smiled. That's a relief.

"I think you guys better go home and relax. I'm fine here." Charles said.

"Mom, can you take Cj home. I'll stay here with Char." I said to my mom. I think it would be good for me to stay with Charles.

"Sure!" My Mom said.

"Bye daddy!" Cj said hugging Charles.

"See ya dude!" Charles said kissing the top of Cj's head.

(Charles' POV)

~~~~~~~A Few Hours Earlier~~~~~~

I got up from the couch. I was going to grab some apple chips we made a few days ago. Then I felt a seizure coming.

I grabbed the counter and everything went black.

(Cj's POV)

Grandma Lauren took me home and put on a movie. I'm not nervous about daddy anymore because I know he's going to be ok.

Grandma Lauren stopped at the Courbet store and let me pick out a treat. I got some skittles and we went home.

Mommy came home an hour later. Grandma Lauren left and Mommy started dinner.

(Alli's POV)

I sat and talked with Charles for an hour and I decided to go home. Give my mom a break.

I drove home and went inside.

Cj and my mom were on the couch watching a movie.

"Thanks mom, Charles is doing fine. You can go home now if you want." I said.

"No problem sweetie. I hope he comes home tomorrow." My mom said and she left.

I decided to start some dinner for Cj. I made some pasta. Cj ate it up quick and went to finish his movie.

~~~~~The Next Morning~~~~~~~

The hospital called the next morning.

"Hello?" I said picking up the phone.

"Hello Mrs. Trippy. We have some good news! Your husband Charles is ready for you to pick him up. Just make sure he is not on any planes or driving for 3 days." The doctor said.

"Thank you so much! I will be there in an hour," I said and then I hung up the phone.

"Cj, we're going to pick up daddy now, get up!" I said. I got him dressed and put him in the car.

"Hello. I am here for Charles Trippy." I said walking up to the desk.

"Ok. Let me call his room." The nurse said.

A few minutes later Charles walked out. He had nothing with him because he had been rushed to the hospital.

Charles ran and picked up Cj and twirled him in the air then they hugged.

"There's my man!" Charles said to him.

We went home.

(Charles' POV)

I just got home from the hospital and I had to call Shay.

"Hey Shay!" I said when he picked up.

"Sup Charles? I heard about your accident." Shay replied.

"Ya, Um, I have to postpone our vacation. Can we come next week?" I asked him.

"Sure! I think it would be better next week. Brock is down with the flu!" Shay said.

"Aw, poor guy!" I said. Shay and I talked for a good hour.
