Chapter 6- First Day Of School

(Alli's POV)

I woke up at 7:00. Today is Cj's first day of school. He's so excited. I rolled out of bed and went to wake my little boy up.

I tiptoed to his room and turned on the light low.

"Morning C. Time to get up for school." I whispered.

"Ok!" He sat up and ran out of his room to the table. "You want some toast?" I asked. "NUTELLA!" He yelled. "Cj, you gotta be quiet, daddy's sleeping!" I said shushing him. "Sorry!" He whispered. I brought him his toast with Nutella and he are it really fast.

"Let's go dressed." I said and we went into his room.

I took out a short sleeve button up plaid shirt and some jean shorts. I grabbed his new Chucks he got a few weeks ago when we went shopping.

He brushed his teeth, combed him hair and washed his face. Charles got up and sat on the couch turning on the tv. Cj jumped on him.

"Bye daddy!" He said. "Bye babe." I said. "Bye bud! Bye Al!" He said hugging Cj.

I grabbed Cjs new backpack with his lunch and pencil case. Cj picked out a Monsters University backpack. It's his favourite movie. He walk to the car and opened the door. I buckled him in and started the car. I looked in the mirror. Cj had the biggest smile on his face.

"Ready dude?" I asked him pulling into the school parking lot.

"Yeah!" He jumped out of the car. I walked him inside.

"Hello!" The principal said as we walked in. "I'm Mrs. Grey. You must be Cj Trippy," She said. "Yeah!" He said. "Ok, all the kindergartens are in the gym. come with me." She said.

"Bye mommy!" He said giving me a hug before grabbing Mrs. Greys hand and walking away.

Don't cry Alli. Don't cry. He is a big boy. He'll be fine. I tried to tell myself walking back the car. I got in and pulled away. It feels like just yesterday he was a little baby.

(Cj's POV)

My new principal Mrs. Grey was taking me to the gym to find out what class I was in.

Mrs. Grey showed me where to sit down. I sat down beside a boy.

"Hey! I'm Cj Trippy. What's your name?" I asked him.

"I'm Davis Anderson. Hi Cj!" He said.

"You want to be my friend?" I asked him.

"Ok!" Davis said. "So, what does Cj stand for?" He asked.

"Charles Junior. My dad's name is Charles. And my moms name is Alli." I said.

"Hey! Are you um, CTFxC or somethin?" Davis asked.

"Yeah. My parents make videos on Youtube. Have you heard of them?" I asked.

"Yeah. My older sister Abby watches you guys." He said.

"Oh cool!" I said until I was interrupted.

"Hello boys and girls! I'm Mrs Dean and this is Mr. Johnson. We are the kindergarten teachers. If we read your name off of the list, come stand in a line behind us." Mrs. Dean said.

"Ok, I'll go first" Mrs. Dean said.

"Davis Anderson, Cj Trippy, Rebecca Smith," Mrs Dean kept naming people so I turned to Davis.

"Yeah man! We're in the same class!" Davis said and we hi- fived. This is going to be fun.

After everyone was named, we followed our teachers to our classes. We got to pick our seats. There were tables of 4. I sat with Davis, a boy named Oliver and another boy named Caleb. I think this is going to be my group of friends.

"Hey guys! I'm Cj Trippy!" I introduced my self.

"I'm Davis Anderson." Davis said.

"I'm Oliver Allen, but you can call me Olly." Oliver said.

"And I'm Caleb White." Caleb said.

"So, I guess we are the 4 amigos!" Olly said.

"Ok class! We are going to play the name game. Each of you are going to come up to the front of the class and say your full name, and a few things about yourself. Let start with this table." Mrs Dean said pointing to our table. We all went up to the front. I went first.

"Hi. I'm Cj Dennis Trippy. Cj stands for Charles Junior. Um. My parents make videos on youtube. The channel is called CTFxC. I have 3 dogs. Zoey, Marley and Chico. I'm going to be a big brother soon! And, my dad is in a band. Called We the Kings. So yeah." I said.

Then Davis went.

"Hey, I'm Davis Alec Anderson. I have an older sister Abby. I play baseball. Um, I like to play games outside with my sister and I like to uh, play with cars." Davis said. Then it was Ollys turn.

"Hi, I'm Oliver John Allen. I have a baby brother named Marcus. I play soccer. I like reading, playing outside and watching tv." Olly said.

"Hi, I'm Caleb White. I am a only child. I play hockey. I just moved here from Minnesota a few weeks ago. My cousin lives beside me. I like to play games and play oustide." Caleb said.

"Ok! Thank you boys!" Mrs. Dean said. she called table after table. I yawned and leaned back in my chair. Then a girl went up. Not any normal girl. She was beautiful. Wow.

Cj! Snap out if it. I thought. Then he started talking.

"Hey everybody! I'm Samantha. But my family and friends call me Sam. I have a puppy. His name is Cougar. I play soccer and I like to play outside. My favorite movie is Frozen. Oh yea. I have a brother. His name is Jeff. And yeah. That's it." Samantha said. She had long blonde hair and brown eyes.

After we finished with the name game, Mrs. Dean gave us each a piece of paper. We had to write our names on it and draw pictures around it. I wrote a big CJ in blue. I drew 3 dog faces around it. Then I drew my family. I drew a few other pictures like a guitar because I like guitars.

I handed it in to the teacher.

"Ok! Time for recess! Everone go get your jackets on." Mrs. Dean said.

Yes. Finally. I can get to know Davis, Caleb and Oliver. I grabbed my fall jacket and met the guys at the door.
