Damien
A rush of life filled me.
I sat up and looked around, my brothers were no where to be seen and I was scared.
Then a light hit my face and the vampire dropped a small bag or red liquid in front of me. I just grabbed it and drank it.
Pain filled my body and I started shaking on the floor.
The agony was terrible. I kicked and clawed the floor.
He stood by and tapped his long nails on the wall of the cellar. He paced around me as I rolled over to my back and screamed out my lungs. Then in a second it stopped. The pain vanished and my throat started burning.
He kicked the bag over to me once again.
"Drink it again before you go on a rampage on the town" he said and I grabbed the bag and drank it dry.
"I need more!" I yelled and felt a erg to run like a cheetah.
I tried but he forceful grabbed my shirt and three me back to the hard cellar floor.
"Its always the young ones that are so jumpy at first" he joked and I stood up quickly.
"Calm down. At least your brothers recovered quickly after the change a few hours ago, I'm James" the vampire said and put his hand out. I neglected it.
"Where are my brothers?" I asked he crossed his arms.
"Such a stubborn boy you are" he smiled.
He lead me up stair and my brothers were in the living room of the house.
"Damien!" they yelled and hugged me.
Scales eyes were bright blue. Much bluer than before.
Adams eyes were golden brown and Blake's were a glowing green. I looked at the mirror in the kitchen to see mine. My eyes were a bright yellowish brown.
It was months before we ever went into town.
James always said it was to dangerous for new horns to enter civilization unknown about the outcomes.
"See boys life hasn't changed since you left it behind" James said walking with his arms wide open and observing the walking crowd that looked at him as tho he was mad.
Cale looked at a young girl passing by.
She wore a tight red dress and a purple shaw on. I could hear her heart race. Then voices filled my head.
"Oh look at those boys over there"
"They must me new in town?"
"Is that one looking at Mchenzy?"
"My is that blond boy handsome"
I saw Cale smile and walk over to the girl. She smiled and he bowed to her. "Hello my lady, my name is Cale Denrock. what might your be?" he smiled and I saw her pupils change and a smile come upon her face.
"I'm Mchenzy Fawn" she said and he kissed her hand.
"What a beautiful name you have, ms. Fawn" Cale said and then James pulled him away from her.
"Sorry ma'am I need to speak with my friend here" James said and she nodded her head.
"You do not get attached to humans!" James whispered to Cale but he wasn't listening to his comment. He was to busy looking at Mchenzy twist her hair on her finger.
"I won't James calm down" Cale said and walked over to Mchenzy.
It was months until of course Cale was engaged to Mchenzy Fawn.
By then James was no longer taking care of Cale and didn't show to his wedding.
Adam, Blake, and I tried to convince Cale it was a bad idea. But we couldn't do anything. They were in love.
But since he was a vampire he never aged and over the course of twenty years Mchenzy started to see it.
She was scared of him.
Thinking her own husband was a witch.
He told her the truth about him being a vampire and she was scared and ran to the governor of the town.
James killed the governor and Mchenzy.
Cale was heart broken for decades.
Then soon the civil war started and Adam and Blake wanted to fight for their country. They died from being impaled into a wooden fence after a cannon blew them off the field.
James left for a new place to live and left us behind. It was Cale and I on the road to no where.
We thought are lives would only be running and killing innocent people.
Till we met Christy.
I know I'm mad at Cale for making the woman I love pregnant. Maybe it would take his mind off of Mchenzy for once. And move on. He blames me for Mchenzys death he should. Because I told James that Mchenzy was going to tell the whole town. I didn't think he would kill her.
Now I wait for the day where I could forgive my brother for what he did to Christy. Or I could just let are hate rot in the fiery pit of hell in which we are damned.
