Tony's POV

By the time we get to one of my hide out buildings Pat had vomited twice in the car and is still unstable.I'm glad she's not asking a million questions as earlier but her silence worries me.I lead her into one of the rooms where some of my men were already waiting for us.

The car is out front ready to leave. Manu tells me handing me a gun and taking the empty one i have from me.

How much time do we have?

20mins tops, Manu responds confidently.

Ok, I'll meet you guys in the basement, stock up the car.

After they leave I'm left alone with Pat but she won't look my way. I want to talk to her and calm her down but I don't have the time now. I need to know who the hell is after me.So I call Mark instead. He picks on the third ring.

Hey, something is wrong, I say as soon as he picks.

What do you mean? he asks

I was attacked in front of my house.how is that even possible, I yell.

what happened with Jimmy in Paris? he asks a little upset.

It was a clean job, there's no way it could have been traced back to me coz I didn't do directly. I can feel him relax from his breathing.

You need to lay low for a while, I'll set up a team to investigate that and I'll see you at the base tonight.he hangs up. I leave the room without glancing Pat's way and head straight to the basement to make sure all the right weapons we'll be needing are stocked in the car.

Patricia's POV

It's been a while and Tony is not yet back in the room.My hands won't stop shaking but the tears are dried up.What the hell did I walk into.I should have followed my instincts and stay away from him. The door flings open and Tony rushes in grabbing me fast and we rush to the car parked out front.

I open my eyes to see we are still on the road, I must have passed out.The car turns and takes a dark underground path. I turn to look at Tony but he's so engrossed with whatever he's doing on his laptop that he doesn't even look up.

Tony where are we going? I ask him sitting up.

Somewhere safe, he responds not looking my way.

Tony, I just want to go home, please. I don't know whatever it is you've done but I don't want to be a part of this. He looks at me and a shiver runs through me, gosh his eyes are deadly now. He hands me a phone with a picture on the screen and it takes me a second to recognize the faces. It's Tony and I, and the picture was taken today.great. I drop the phone and lean back into the car seat.

The phone is from one of the cars chasing after us today, I hope now you see why you can't be alone right now.He says closing his laptop and I feel the car coming to a halt. One of his men opens my door while Tony gets down as well, he walks around the car and takes me by the hand and we walk in together. The entire house is mostly dark expect for a few dim light bulbs. The house is much different from his fancy house. The walls are made of rocky stones not painted, the windows are wooden and the curtains worn out.The floor has no covering just bare cement and finally we get to a room which doesn't look much better than the rest of the house but at least there's a bed. I walk straight to the bed and lay down backing Tony.

After a few minutes of moping around in silence someone knocks on the and I can hear Tony open the door and close it but I don't turn around.

You should eat something.Tony tells me but I don't turn around.

Patricia get up and have some food, please. Tony begs.I get up and walk to the table and I notice he has changed clothes. He's wearing a pair of shorts and a t shirt and he has never looked more sexy.my my, even in distress he's still hot.no, shit, I can't be distracted now.I need to get the hell outta here.
