Rhys looked Akira and put her books into her bag, her eyes tightly closed. She looked outside as the bell rung. In about ten minutes the parents would enter the school.

"That woman....she is dead for me." Akira had said, her expression dark.

It's best if her father comes, because if I see that woman she won't just be dead for her. She will be dead for real.

And you will be expelled. You don't want that now, do you?

Rhys hit the desk, making the others look at him in a cautious way. He ignored them, took his bag and left.

"Here you are." the male voice said, as a boy stood in front of him. Rhys walked to the right and passed next to him. The boy grabbed his arm. "Don't ignore me."he growled.

"Let go of me. I don't have time to deal with you today."

"I challenge you."

"Do you never understand?" Rhys clicked his tongue. "I'm not in the mood to kick your ass, Raven."

"You mean you are too scared to have your ass kicked?" Raven smirked. Rhys's jaw clenched. He yanked his hand and walked away.

"That girl...Akira, wasn't it? She has very tasty blood. Very charming too. Such strong eyes. Shall I make her my toy?"

All Rhys could see was red. Red were Raven's eyes and red was the blood falling on Raven's face after Rhys's imaginary punch. "Easy, fox. You're showing your true self." Raven said smirking.

"You. Stay away from her." Rhys said, his eyes icy blue.

"I don't want to. She looks interesting."

"Don't play with your luck." Rhys growled. "She is mine."

Raven exposed his fangs. "Layla was mine but that didn't stop you. Did it, my old friend?" Rhys clenched his teeth so hard it hurt. You know nothing.

He pushed Raven back with force, shoving him to the wall. Rhys's fists clenched at the fabric of his T-shirt and glared at him. "Don't mess with your luck, old friend." he snapped.

Rhys turned and walked away. When he reached his room, he threw his bag and opened the window. He stepped on the ledge, gripped the tiles and pushed himself up to the roof. He lay down. No one would find him there. Noone would even think of it.

He hated high places after all.

The only thing Akira wanted was to be on her bed, listening to music and be seperated from the world. Those were some really crazy days.

Who wants me in this school so desperately as to threaten the headmaster?

Was the falling vase something that just happened to happen?

You already know the answer to that.

Somebody knocked the door. There was silence and Akira didn't move. They knocked again. "Rene." and again. Akira sat at the bed, before completely standing up. "I know you are in there." Akira approached the door. "Rene." he demanded.

"I will be out in a minute." she said. She looked down at her dry and wounded hands.

I really want to wash them now.

"No time." she whispered. Her heart was thundering at her ears as she applyed hand sanitizer and  donned a new pair of gloves. She put the hand sanitizer in her pocket and opened the door.

His downturned light brown eyes, half covered by his blond hair, made her to want the earth to open and swallow her up with the way they were looking at her. "Father." she said.
