Sienna///
It's been six months. Six months since the images and memories and traumatic experiences flashed through my mind on that terrible night. The night where I saw Amanda for the first time in ten years. The night where I actually trusted Dennis, as if I believed he had actually changed and actually loved me. Ten years ago, was the night where they both laughed at me for thinking I had enough courage to stand up to them. The night that they yelled at me that I was a little bitch under their breath as their head was forced down and the door was slammed as they stared coldly at my seven year old self through the police car window. I was holding my little pink teddy bear that my next door neighbor gave me for Christmas. She showed me the only love and affection I had ever gotten when I was that little. I never knew why they hated me so much. They both weren't drunk. So what made them mad at me this time?
Meanwhile, I was awakening from a nightmare and Cameron was running her fingers through my hair and whispering to me that it was all going to be okay. I knew it was. It was just a stupid nightmare. Not the ones you get when your a small child waking your parents up because there a monster under your bed. But the one where your mind gets clouded and all you can think about is what happened during that moment that was so bad that it made its way to your head. The one that makes you not want to breathe but you already know that your not. The one where you feel like it's all happening again and again and it won't go away.
We were at a hotel in New York City. The waiting list for the eye treatment had made its way to Ethan. He was finally getting it done. He already had his surgery done and was recovering over night for it. The hotels were very expensive so me, Cam, and Gray shared a bed as Lisa and Sean shared one. The beds were exceptionally huge and might I add very comfortable, so we were all able to fit. Lisa gave me permission to take Ethan where ever I wanted after we got back to New Jersey. I decided on the place we first met. The fucking café because I'm a cliché ass motherfucker. Then I would take him to the first date we had. The cliff. Again because I'm a  cliché ass motherfucker. The thoughts of Ethan being able to see his family and seeing the world and being able to be happy made me calm down. My body relaxed and I fell back into the pillow. Grayson groaned.
"Cmonnnnnn stop I'm tired bug." He said scratching his head. "Bug" was his nickname for me. He said because I had a small body and big eyes. Like a bug. Cameron called me "sis" because she never doubted that me and Ethan would get married because of the fact that we were so in love. I didn't object. I loved Ethan and I wouldn't stop. I loved how his hair was ruffled up when I woke up next to him. I loved how his cheeks would burn red when I would give him compliments on how good he looked. I loved how he adored the way I described my drawings. I just loved everything about him. I was slowly drifting off to sleep when my phone lit up. The time was 5:30 Am. Damn I got no sleep but it was time for my run. It would be breathtaking to have a nice, long run in New York. My eyes scanned the notification. My heart started to beat faster as it read "eteeweetee has sent a message to the group chat "dolan fam". I quickly clicked on it and once again, my heart was beating out of my chest. It was a selfie from Ethan. His eyes were no longer the beautiful, milky color they once were. They were a light, hazel color. They were still beautiful. They had a message underneath it. "Bring that ass here boi." I laughed at his word choice as tears formed in my eyes.
"guys guys guys wake up!" I yelled happily shaking everyone up.
They all groaned.
"WAKE UP!" I yelled again. I was tying my shoes and jumping on Lisa and Sean's bed.
"Guys Ethan send me a message." I said pulling out my phone. All their heads shot up. They gathered around my phone and we all quickly got dressed. We ran to the car and drove way past the speed limit. We were all crying happily. MY Ethan would be able to have normal life. He wouldn't have to count his steps when we walked. He wouldn't have to use a tarp ribbon in the shower when we wanted to find the soap. He wouldn't have to ask for assistance on getting downstairs at my house, afraid that he would fall. And most of all, he wouldn't need to use Braille on his stories he would write. He wouldn't take forever on one page because he had to find each word with his fingertips. By the time my thoughts were finished, Lisa's minivan was parked and we were scattered all along into the entrance of the hospital. We quickly checked in and I frantically searched for the room number "69". I laughed remembering Ethan asking the doctor to check him in there. My eyes scanned across the number and I slammed into that room looking like a mad man. I had my running outfit on, tear stained cheeks and my hair was fluffed into a million curls from all the excitement. The doctors surrounded his hospital bed smiling at him happily. Lisa, Sean, Cameron, and Grayson passed me up and ran over to Ethan. I stood by the door with tears in my eyes. I could not move as the excitement in my body was over flowing my veins. His family had given him hugs already and his soft eyes met mine. Grayson saw my feet glued to the floor and coughed. My eyes darted to his and he nodded his head towards Ethan. And I swear to god. I've never ran so fast. Not even when I would wake up every early morning. Not even when my mom chased me around the neighborhood because I wanted to be pretty and used all her expensive makeup. I pulled him into the tightest hug. Maybe not anyone in this room had seen a more beautiful moment than this. He started crying happily as we rocked into each other's embrace.
"God you so fucking beautiful." He laughed.
Lisa glared at him but didn't say anything. She didn't want to ruin the moment by smacking him in the back of his head and scolding him for using such language. So she sat back, rested her head on Sean's shoulder, and smiled at the moment that she had witnessed.
I was still crying happily. The excitement had died down slowly. I put my head in the crook of his neck and closed my eyes.
The doctor coughed and we all opened our eyes and looked at him.
"Well as you can see the surgery was a success and the recovery took very little time." He said smiling. "You can all catch up and Mr. Dolan should be good to go whenever he wakes up or if he even sleeps."
Before he left the room, Ethan was up and walking towards him. He pulled him into a very tight hug. The doctor didn't hesitate to pat Ethan's back and smile at him.
"Thank you." Ethan said happily.
"It's my job." He doctor said closing the door.
I sat on the edge of the bed and was dozing off. Grayson's hand reached the light switch to turn it off but Ethan quickly smacked  it away. "I've seen darkness for so long. Keep it on." He said smiling.
Grayson stared at Ethan. He then pulled him into a warm hug. My eyes were glued on the brothers who's bond was so tight. Ethan chuckled and pulled away. He took long strides towards the bed and sat next to me.
"God." He said breathlessly. It was only me, Ethan, Cam, and Gray awake.
"What?" I giggled.
"Look you guys." He said.
"A-and look at me."
"Well your quite hot if you ask me." I said.
The night consisted of Grayson constantly getting snacks from the food court and all of us cracking the stupidest jokes, I don't know how we even found them funny. Although they all dozed off but the one who remained awake. Ethan. He was curled up on Sienna's chest and had a perfect angle of her face. He didn't have to ask her to describe what she looked like or what she was wearing and he didn't have to touch her face. He could see her beauty. Finally. He admired her dark red lips that were filled in by her makeup. Her long, curly eyelashes and her straight blonde hair. His hand caressed her cheek and he grabbed her chin. He pushed his lips against hers. This caused Sienna to open her eyes in confusion but she quickly melted into into his gesture. The kiss was more like a make out but it wasn't like the one you saw at a high school party. It was long and passionate. They both pulled away and stared into each other's eyes. The corner of Sienna's eyes crinkled up as she giggled. She snuggled into Ethan's neck and planted a kiss on it. This made Ethan's skin form goosebumps. She giggled once more and closed her eyes. Ethan still remained awake and stared at her all day. Until the room was filled with dim sunlight and birds were chirping outside. His vision was back and no one could take it from him again.
