I woke up drenched in sweat. I haven't had that nightmare in years. I was in my old house, with my family and my dad came home drunk and was about to hit me. I looked at the time and realized it was 10 AM.
"Fuck" I cursed at myself.
I missed the usual time to go run. And go to the café and see Ethan. I wanted to see him so bad. To hear his beautiful voice and admire his face as he spoke.
My thoughts were interrupted by a notification. I saw his name appear at the top of my screen and my heart skipped a beat.
Ethan🖤-hey you weren't at the café today, is something wrong?
Me-no nothings wrong don't worry about me
Ethan🖤-maybe I want to
Me-maybe I don't want you to
Ethan🖤-maybe I have to
I stared at the screen for a few minutes before replying:
Me-well I guess you do what you gotta do. Anyways are you busy today?
Ethan🖤-no
Me-good I wanna take you somewhere
Ethan🖤-is THE sienna pastor asking ME out?? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?
Me-can you drive?
Ethan🖤-obviously not👀
Me-well then I guess it has to be my way
Ethan🖤-maybe I don't want to go
