Chapter 36

----------Grace's pov---------
I still needed to text Eben and ask him if he wanted to go to the party with me tonight.
--------Messages--------
G: Hey Eben do you want to go to a party tonight?
E: What about Zach?
G: You always ask me that even though you already know the answer.
E: Yeah, I'll go with you just make sure that Zach knows.
G: I always let him know.
E: What time am I coming to get you?
G: You are picking Isabelle and me up at 7:25 or 7:30.
E: Isabelle isn't going with Dani?
G: Well maybe, I don't know I'll go and ask her.
I walk to Isabelle's room and walked in because the door was open.
G: "Hey are you going with Dani to the party?"
I: "Umm... not really..."
She was looking behind me and I turned around to see Tyler was behind me.
T: "Hey Grace."
G: "Hey Tyler."
I turned back around to see Isabelle ready for me to yell at her.
I: "Umm... Tyler can you go to the living room please."
He walked out of the room.
G: "Are you fucking good bro?!?!"
I: "At least I'll have an adult with me."
G: "What is Dani then?"
I: "True..."
G: "Well I'm guessing that Eben doesn't need to give you a ride."
I: "Yeah pretty much..."
G: "I hope you know if Dani finds out this whole thing with Tyler I'm not going to help you."
I: "I know because it'll be my mistake."
G: "Tyler you can come back in here!" *yelling*
I walked back to my room, finished getting ready, and finished texting Eben.
------Messages-----
G: She is getting a ride from someone else.
E: Who?
G: Are you at the boy's house?
E: Yeah
G: And who might look like they are missing?
E: Umm... Tyler?
G: BINGO!
E: What's with that?
G: I know what's up with it but I promised that I wouldn't tell anyone.
E: Well ok. So I'm picking you up at 7:25?
G: Sure that works.
Few hours later
I finished getting ready around 6:45 and decided to text Zach.

G: Hey I'm going to a party.
Z: I'm guessing with Eben.
G: Yep.
Z: Well that's who you usually go with and you have always been safe so have fun.
G: I will. I love you❤️
Z: I love you too❤️
------------Zach's pov----------
Ja: "Hey are you going to that party that the girls are going too?"
Z: "Nope because Grace always goes with Eben."
Ja: "Why not with you?"
Z: "Well Eben is older and he is probably safer to be around if something does happen to her."
Ja: "Dude you haven't been to a party in forever so just come with me."
Z: "What time does it start anyway?"
Ja: "8 but it's a 30-minute drive plus I have to pick Jenna up at 7:25."
Z: "Ok, I'll go but only for you."
Ja: "Yess."
He left and let me get ready. It was 7 now and we decided to head over to the girl's house to see what they were doing.
We arrived at their house around 7:15. We walked up to the door and walked right in to see Grace, Jenna, Isabelle, and Tyler sitting in the living room.
Je: "What are you doing here so early Jack and why are you here Zach?"
Z: "Well Jack wanted me to go."
Grace seemed a little pissed or worried for no reason.
G: "Zach can I speak to you really fast?"
Z: "Sure."
We walked to her room and I shut the door.
G: "Why didn't you tell me that you were going with Jack?"
Z: "Does that bother you?"
G: "I didn't say that, all I said was why didn't you tell me?"
Z: "Because we were already gonna come here and pick up Jenna plus I wanted to surprise you at the party."
Ja: "Zach we have to go!!"
G: "Zach honey, please be careful tonight because I know what happens at these parties."
Z: "I will."
---------Grace's pov--------
He shot me one of those cute smiles and he kissed me. I followed him back to the living room to see Eben, Isabelle, Tyler, Jack, and Jenna ready to leave.
I: "No smashing happened right?"
G: "Shut up Isabelle."
Everyone followed one another out the door and I was the last one out so I could lock the door. We all got into the cars we were riding in and followed Eben and I because I had the directions.
E: "So... how is everything with you and Zach?"
He said that while putting his hand on my thigh.
G: *clears throat* "Good I guess, why?"
E: "No reason."
I'm looking out the front window, watch him from the corner of my eye and saw him bite his lip. I suddenly needed to go to the bathroom so I sent the directions to Jenna.
G: "Can we stop really fast?"
E: "Where?"
G: "Somewhere with a bathroom."
He pulled into a gas station, did my business, then we continued to the party.
After 30 minutes of small talk and weird things happening we finally arrived at the party.
