Chapter 38

---------Zach's pov-------
As I walked out if the house I guess I ran into one of Grace's old friends.
OF- Old friend, Z- Zach
OF: "Hey why are you leaving so early?"
Z: "Because I just realized I came to the wrong party."
OF: "Well I'm Chloe and you aren't at the wrong party because you came in with Grace. I was really good friends with Jenna, Isabelle and Grace until they moved."
Z: "Hi Chloe I'm-"
C: "Zach. Yeah you're always on Grace's story."
Z: "Yep sounds about right."
Chloe laughs.
Z: "Well it was nice talking to you but I need to go catch my ride."
C: "Ok see you later then."
I walked outside to a few people black out drunk sleeping on the ground, people throwing up, and people making out against cars. I waited out by the curb for my Uber as I waited I heard foot steps behind me.
Je: "Hey Zach."
It was Jenna and she sat next to me. She looked worried.
Z: "Hey why do you look worried?"
Je: "It's Grace. After you guys had your argument she started to drink the hard stuff."
I just look at the ground because I hated hearing that.
Je: "Zach, I understand why you don't want to stay but just remember that you and Grace are meant to be even though you still haven't asked her out."
Z: "I don't know how to though."
Je: "What happened to the song you wrote?"
Z: "The rest of the boys liked the song so we used it for the new EP. Plus I didn't want to ask her out until Jack knew how he really feels remember."
Jenna nodded.
Z: "Just promise me one thing, Jenna."
Je: "What?"
Z: "Make sure that all of you get home safe tonight please."
Je: "I sure will."
My Uber pulled up. I hugged Jenna in thanks then left.
---------Jenna's pov--------
I was hoping that something in that conversation would have had changed his mind. I walk back into the house and to see Grace and Eben playing Truth or Dare with some people we know and don't. I walked around the house to see if I can find Jack. As I walked around I ran into Isabelle talking to one of Grace's old boyfriends. Dated for a little bit but lots of things happened.
Je: "Have you seen Jack?"
I: "He is in the bathroom with Tyler cause he started throwing up when you were outside."
Je: "Which one?"
I: "Around the corner."
I nodded and said bye to our "friend" and went to go to the bathroom with Jack in it.
Je: "Jack, it's Jenna."
Ja: "Ok I'll have Tyler let you in."
Tyler let me in and pointed to where Jack was on the ground holding his stomach.
