❧ The next day, it was sunny. ☙

Hugo went to the same street he found the boy before. He looked around, and sure enough, the boy was there, in the same corner, still wearing Hugo's jacket, but inside, his clothes looked much more expensive than Hugo's.

"Hey, what are you looking at?" Hugo asked.

He followed the little boy's gaze to the other side of the street, where the sweets truck was parked there.

"Are you hungry?"

The little boy nodded his head furiously.

Hugo smiled at the boy's cuteness. "I have money, let's go!"

He took the boy by the hand and pulled him up. Hugo took a good look at him.

He was petit, nearly half a head shorter and him, and loads cuter too.

"Well, let's go," Hugo said, shaking his thoughts away. He took his hand again, and they crossed the street together.

"What do you want?" Hugo asked. "Candy? Or chocolate?"

"Cotton candy."

Those two words nearly made Hugo have a heart attack, right there, on the spot.

No, it wasn't because of the words, to be exact, it was because of who said them.

The boy's voice sounded so sweet and angelic, Hugo's heart melted from the attack.

"O-Okay," he replied, slightly stuttering as he handed the man on the truck a few coins, in exchange for the bright blue cotton candy that he handed the little boy.

"Thank yoo!"

Hugo nearly fainted. "Y-You're welcome."

"I'm Hugo...by the way." He had just realized that he hadn't told the boy his name yet.

"Hoo-go?"

"No it's...actually er...you can call me that, yeah."

It was an adorable nickname, especially coming out of his soulmate's mouth, Hugo had to admit that.

"Yoo can have yoor jacket back, Hoo-go" the boy said.

"N-No it's okay, you can keep it," Hugo scratched his head. "You look cute in it."

"Yoo look coote too."
