Meet The Actor Monday: Claire Nicholson
First appearing in Captain America: Civil War as Blue Shadow/Yulia Maximoff, Claire Nicholson will be reprising her role as the youngest Maximoff in the upcoming Spiderman: Homecoming movie.
At just 17 years old, she became the youngest actor to play a superhero in the MCU. She joined Captain America: Civil War almost immediately after signing a contract with the San Francisco Ballet. She is in her second year in the company. She trained at the company's affiliated school, the San Francisco Ballet School for six years. Claire has been performing soloist and leading roles since her contract began and is was the youngest dancer to ever tackle the role of Juliet in Macmillan's Romeo & Juliet.
