The sweet scents of the forest enveloped me as my paws thudded on the forest floor which was scattered with green shrubs and ferns. A light breeze ruffled my pitch black fur as I looked back behind me as I caught an unfamiliar scent in the breeze and saw another wolf. he had silky looking brown fur and striking blue eyes. RING RING RING

My alarm blared annoyingly as I reached over and pulled the plug from the wall with a groan.

"UGH its Monday" I grumbled as I rolled out of bed with a thud

"Hurry up Khara, you are going to be late for school" I heard my mom yell from downstairs.

I groaned loudly to make sure she would hear then I hopped up and looked in my closet. Black, Black, and more Black. Eventually I decided on some black ripped skinny jeans and my MCR shirt. I threw on my torn up black vans and sprinted down the stairs throwing my waist length purple and blue hair in a ponytail. I headed out the door sneaking a donut on my way out.

"Bye mom!" I shouted as I grabbed my blue penny board and backpack from the foyer.

I sprinted down the side walk until I got tired and then I started to ride my penny board the rest of the mile to school eating my dount thinking about the horrible day to come. When I got there I threw the hood up on my grey Panic! At The Disco sweatshirt and walked inside. I hadn't made it ten feet when I was strangled in a hug by my best friend Lucy.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" She screamed in my ear

I had completely forgotten that it was my fifteenth birthday today "thanks" I laugh still groggy from sleep

"Did you forget coffee again?" Lucy asked laughing

I groaned slightly in acknowledgement as I reached my locker and I opened it to find all of my stuff messed up and a few things missing with a sticky note on the door that said 'Good luck with the mess' I pulled it off my locker then put it in my pocket, I would burn it later. I grabbed my textbooks and what i could find of my supplies and closed my locker to see Lucy frowning at me.

"What..?" I asked slightly annoyed that she was just staring.

"how long are you going to let this go on?" she asked referring to my locker

"it's no big deal really it's not like it gets to me I could care less about what they have to say" I lied unconvincingly

She rolled her eyes then the bell rang and we rushed to class.

'Its been an oddly good day today' I thought to myself in fifth period when suddenly I was hit with a wave of nausea and I rushed out of the classroom and made it to the bathroom and then I threw up. I was sent home early and my mom picked me up.

"are you okay Honey?" she asked sounding worried

"yeah I just need to rest" I replied still feeling a bit nauseous

"okay well I have to work the late shift at work will you be okay home alone for tonight?" she asked

"Yeah mom ill be fine" I said as we pulled into the driveway of our house and I hopped out of my moms car.

A few hours later I was lying in my bed and I looked over to my nightstand,10:00pm I should probably sleep. As I dozed thinking about what happened today I was hit with another wave of nausea this time accompanied by a horrible migraine and I decided to take a walk in the woods behind my house. As I walk silently listening to the sounds of nature I hear a howl and footsteps behind me. I look back and I see nothing but the dark woods and the distant lights of my house. 'That means mom is home' I thought and I texted her to let her know that I was alright just taking a walk. After I sent it I was hit with the most intense wave of nausea yet and puked in the bushes by me. When I turned back to walk back to my house a shooting pain spread through my back and limbs again. I let out a short scream before I threw up again. I was in so much pain that I couldn't even speak much less move. Then I passed out.
