Chapter 8

'The Blood Moon Pack's beta is here' he said back fear lacing his voice

'He is looking for you' Elton told me through a pack mind link 'but im getting rid of him.'

About ten minutes later Devyn told us to open the door and we did then we rushed to the back yard and ran back to the pack house leaving the car and Elton at my mom's house. we ran through the woods and I started to tire when Colby told me to shift and I did it took me longer to shift than it did the more experienced werewolves and then we ran to the house at top speed through the woods.

Once we got to the house I shifted back and Colby stood behind me to block my mark from wandering eyes and we all walked upstairs to put on some clothes. I tossed on another white tank top and threw on some pastel pink short shorts. Colby walked out of the closet where he had gotten dressed. He was in some jogger sweatpants and had no shirt on. I looked up and down his body, his abs, his biceps, and his neck, my gaze resting on his lips. He chuckled as he notices me checking him out and I blush turning around walking into the bathroom I was looking down at the sink when I felt his arms wrap around my waist and I stood up the rest of the way and tried to turn around but he didn't let me and gave me a mischievous smirk through the mirror as he leaned down to kiss my mark, my breath caught in my throat and he laughed. He worked his way down my mark with kisses then licking all the way up and I let out a whimper mixed with a moan. He worked his way down kissing the three stars individually then nibbling on them and I let out a loud moan not caring if someone hears and he smiles. He turns me around and I shove him up against the wall roughly making him grunt at the impact then I pulled him into a kiss letting my hands wander across his abs and chest. I break away from the kiss trailing down his neck with kisses until I hit his sweet spot and he moaned and I kissed that spot again then licking from there all the way up to his mouth when we heard a knock.

"coming!" I yelled and walked out because Colby stood there frozen I giggled and opened the door to see Corey

"if you guys are done, Devyn made dinner." He said with a smirk

"okay be down in a bit" I said closing the door and I felt Colby's arms warp around my waist then I pulled away pecked him on the lips and headed for the closet to grab another one of his hoodies. He walked past me and I smacked his butt making him glare at me then I stood there looking innocent. He walked into the closet chucking. I waited for him to put on a shirt when I heard his phone ring. I picked it up and looked at it Elton, I answered it

"Hey Elton" I said in a sweet voice

"Hey is your mate there" he asked

"He is getting dressed, why?" I replied then Colby grabbed his phone out of my hand

"Hello" he said in a deep tone and then after a few seconds he nodded and with a quick "okay see ya then" he hung up,

I gave him a questioning look tilting my head to the side.

"Elton is bringing a trusted friend to have dinner with us" he informed

"Trusted friend?" i question

"The alpha of Golden Sun Pack" he said and we headed downstairs. The second we opened the door we were met with the scent of spaghetti and an unfamiliar smell. We raced downstairs and I froze when I saw the man standing by Elton who stopped mid-sentence when he saw me and I hid behind Colby

"w-who are you" I said to the man

"I am alpha Ryan of the Golden Sun Pack" he replied then turned to Elton

"is this the young princess?" he asked and Elton nodded I looked at them still clinging to Colby.

"May I see your mark young one?" he asked and I looked at Colby who smiled and I pulled off the sweatshirt leaving my mark exposed through the white tank top I was wearing. Alpha Ryan grinned a little too wide making me uncomfortable and Colby let out a low growl seeming to pick up on my discomfort covering my mark with his hand pulling me into him.

"How old are you two" he asked us and Colby responded

"Im sixteen and she is fifteen but I shifted for the first time at eleven" Colby informed the man

"Quite unusual to see a mate bond as strong as yours at this age as most wolves can't even find a mate until them are eighteen" alpha Ryan said to everyone in the room

Colby smiled down at me and I kissed him forgetting that we were on display for the whole pack and then some. Then again I don't really care if they see.

A few minutes later we were all seated in the living room with our food I was seated by Colby who took a defensive position sitting on the edge of the couch slightly glaring at the alpha on the other side of the room who was watching me with a weird look.

'do you know anything about the Golden Sun pack?" Ryan asked me and I shook my head hesitantly

"well we have past royal guards in our ranks and I was wondering if I could invite them into the house to meet you?" he said

"i-into the house?" I questioned "wait, are they outside" and everyone nodded

"umm sure?" I said hesitantly and at that moment five men walked into the door startling me.

I cuddled up behind Colby moving to the other side of him pressing myself up to his back and Devyn's side.

"hello Eclipse Pack" they all greeted and Elton nodded in acknowledgement

Their eyes passed over all of us not really noticing me until Colby stood up as I was leaning into his back and I fell off the couch landing on my butt. With my legs straight out in front of me I crossed my arms and glared at him and he laughed helping me up.

I whispered in his ear so quietly that the human ear wouldn't hear it "im going to get you back for that" then I smacked his butt and he let out a loud "EY!" making everyone laugh.

The men suddenly froze as they saw my mark then quickly kneeled down in front of me. I hide behind Colby with a small squeak grabbing onto his shirt. They stand and nod respectfully at Colby who nodded back

'why did they just kneel to me?' I mind linked to the pack

'they kneeled because you could be the future queen of the werewolf world and Colby the king' Elton replied
