Chapter 9

'they kneeled because you could be the future queen of the werewolf world and Colby the king' Elton replied

I let out an audible sound that sounded kind of like "EEP!" and Colby stood there stunned at the word king.

'I-I-I couldn't do that I don't even know anything about the werewolf world!' I said quickly through mind link

'yeah and im too irresponsible' Colby added even faster

I laughed as did everyone in the room and I realized that everyone could hear that, making me go pale and Colby turned red.

I looked to the guards "how did I make it through the attack?" I questioned

"don't ask those kinds of questions Girl!" alpha Ryan shouted and Colby growled at him loudly starting to shake then he shifted with a snarl. I jumped in front of Colby as he was about to lunge for the mans throat. Colby growled at me and I squatted down glaring into his eyes

"don't you growl at me!" I said in a dominant tone leading him out of the room by his scruff. I pulled him into the downstairs bathroom hearing laughs erupting from the living room as he shifted.

'ill go get you some clothes from upstairs" I said walking out of the room

"well I guess we know who is in charge of that relationship" I heard Sam say and I winked at him walking upstairs and I grabbed a pair of Colby's black skinny jeans and his gray Nirvana shirt along with some boxers. I walked downstairs and into the bathroom giving him the clothes. He put on the boxers and pants then I grabbed his shirt and ran out of the bathroom giggling. I ran into the living room and sat on his shirt so he walked in and sat by me shirtless I looked at him biting my lip subconsciously. He looked at me then started tickling me.

"oaky okay ill give you the shirt" I said laughing then with a mischievous smile I grabbed the shirt and sprinted out of the room faster than I have ever moved before then Colby caught up to me and wrapped his arms around my waist . I turned around like I was gonna kiss him only to throw his shirt in his face running back to the living room then launching myself onto the couch from three feet away. He walked in chuckling and everyone was once again looking at us like we had just turned into unicorns then narwhals and back to unicorns.

"they really are comfortable together" Ryan said and Elton nodded as Colby was still ticking me

A few hours later me and Colby were relaxing in our room listening to music when we heard a knock at the door.

"Come in!" me and Colby said in unison

Elton walked into the room and I saw Corey, Devyn, and the five ex-guards outside the door

"Were going back to your moms place" Elton stated

"Tomorrow" I asked

"Tonight' he said

"Okay see you tomorrow" I said and pushed him out the door closing it behind him Colby laughed as I locked the door and Elton knocked on the door trying to get in then I turned on

I Don't Care by Fall Out Boy on top volume. I got ready to go I changed into a short black leather dress and some knee high lace up four inch heeled boots with some thigh high socks and a black suspender belt I tossed my hair into a ponytail with my bangs covering my left eye then walked into the bathroom throwing on eyeliner and some dark blue lipstick.

Colby walked in and he said "you look ni-" then he froze when he saw my boots, socks, and the straps of my suspender belt. His eyes looked like they were gonna pop out of his head. I walked up to him almost as tall as him with my heels and kissed him walked out of the bathroom into the bedroom to see Devyn in the closet.
