Mom's leg wouldn't stop jittering and while I am trying not to let it annoy me, thankfully, Liv is much less diplomatic and had no problem with putting her hand on mum's leg to make it stop. After the leg came the finger tapping and me and Livia just stood up and walked around the airport. We were there way too early, but mum was so excited that we left 45 minutes before the time planned. I opened my bag and grabbed the notes I had taken in my last class, occupying my mind, leading it away from the nerves.

"His airplane landed!" My mum shrieked behind me and I think half the airport is startled by her and is now staring. She didn't notice. I looked at her and I saw two people about her age looking at the arrivals board with the same happy smile on their faces and I seem to recognize them as James' parents. Should we say hi?

My mum came to hug me and they walked the other direction before I could make a decision. I hugged my mum back.

"Hello crazy lady, are we done scaring people with your screams?" I joked and she laughed.

"Don't be mean now, my baby boy is back!" She smiled widely. "And we'll have a lovely dinner the 4 of us! Aren't we lucky?"

"The luckiest." I agreed.

"AH!" It was Liv's time to shriek and I wondered if the whole airport is gonna take us for lunatics. But then I turned to see what she was looking at and I had to contain my own shriek. Drew was walking through the gate and let me tell you something, the three of us basically had an obstacle race to get there first, dodging people, jumping over luggage. I got there first, not to brag, and I didn't have time to wonder if I was the only one jumping over things to get to Drew nor that the airport now probably thought my whole family is bonkers. I am hugging Drew, in person! I can touch him! He is laughing and hugging me back tightly.

"Hey there, crazy person." He says lightly.

"Our whole family looked crazy today and you're linked to us now, so don't try to escape it," I said with a laugh.

"Wouldn't dream of it." He said honestly and I felt my mum trying to rip me off Drew.

"Oh, I think you're being summoned." I laughed and stopped hugging him so my mum could give him a hug. Liv didn't try to get mum off Drew, or wait, she just added on to the hug. I smiled happily at my family. The luckiest.

My eyes wandered around the airport out of habit, but not for long. I immediately saw him a few meters to my side and my heart started beating rapidly in my chest. James was hugging his parents and a guy who I assumed to be Harry (from what I saw on facebook) and he was smiling and we were finally on the same continent, same country, same city, same room! I wanted to go hug him and I almost started walking in his direction but a wave of anxiety hit me and I was afraid to ruin his family moment.

"Oh, isn't that your roommate?" My mum asked finally breaking out of the hug. "What's his name?"

"James." I answered for Drew, not looking away from him.

"Oh, we should go say hi to him and his parents!" My mum said and I was gonna say something about ruining a family moment but James looked this way and we finally make eye contact. Real eye contact! Not just looking at a freaking camera! And I smiled so brightly I think I might have laughed out loud.

He tells something to his parents without looking away and he is walking towards me. And I'm walking towards him. Fast.

His arms are around my waist and mine are around his neck and he lifts me up a bit and I close my eyes and I'm so happy, and my heart is beating so fast.

"Hey there Flower." He smiles and I chuckle at his pet name.

"I wanted to do this for so long," I admit and he chuckles as he puts me down.

"You're not the only one." He says and we break out of the hug smiling, thought I wish I never had to stop hugging him ever. And then I see both of our families looking at us, looking surprised and confused. Except Harry and Drew, Drew is chuckling to himself, shaking his head and Harry is smirking and nodding.

"Oh, right." I say. "That will be an interesting ride home."

He looks at me and laughs and kisses my forehead, I had forgotten how much taller he was. "I'm guessing you've got some explaining to do as well." He says and I nod.

"I don't know what I'll say," I admit as our families both start walking towards each other, they would soon be here.

"Say that we're going on a date somewhere this week?" He asks with a nervous smile and he looks down, as his hand reaches for mine. I smile brightly at him.

"Sounds perfect," I say and kiss his cheek, squeezing his hand lightly before we go back to mingling with our families. Still holding hands, still touching. Finally.
