"So theres the couch." She said pointing to it awkwardly. "Or you can have the bed and I can have the couch. Up to you."

"I dont think you want me to pick any of those options." I see her start to smile and blush a bit.

"So are we both sleeping on my bed then?" I shrug and nod.

"Up to you." She thinks for a bit and takes my hand. She leads me to her room and I can see the familiar features from that night.

"Dont worry jonah, I cant dump you if we're not together." She and I chuckle and she climbs in her bed. She pats the spot next to her and I climb in. She curls up into my side and I wrap my arms around her. Shes oddly cold so I rub my hands on her arm and side. "Goodnight." She kisses my cheek with her gentle lips and tucks her head in the crook of my neck.

"Goodnight bailey."

When I wake up to baileys alarm, I open my eyes to see bailey wrapped on top of me. Her legs were entangled with mine and her gauzed arms were tucked in at her side. Her fingers gently brushed my stomach and she flinched when the alarm went off. Her hair wasnt in its usual crazy state which meant she probably didnt get much sleep. I brushed a couple strands out of her face and she sat up slowly.

"Morning." She stretched, her arms opening wide while her sweatshirt pulled up a bit shoeing a sliver of her stomach- wait. Was that my sweatshirt?

"Is that my sweatshirt." Her eyes widen and she starts fiddling with the sleeves.

"Uh- I. Um. Uhhh maybe?" I laugh.

"Looks good on you." She smiles and gets up off the bed. She takes my hand and helps me out and into the kitchen.

"Okay, we have to pack for a few days. Should we go to the why dont we house? We have 3 hours until the flight." I nod and we head out.

When we arrived, bailey had put her hood over her somewhat messy hair and she took a deep breath. "I dont even remember the last time I was here." I rub circles on her arm. She takes one more deep breath and opens the car door and exiting. I can tell that baileys put on a tiny bit of weight, but it looks good. It fills in all her curves just right and I catch myself staring a couple times.

We had gotten my clothes and left without the boys waking up. I decided to leave a note and set it on the fridge.

-

On the way to the airport, bailey and I sang songs from the radio as loud as we could, trying not to pay attention to the slow traffic and the honks of other drivers getting pissed off at one another.

"Hey bailey?" I ask.

"Hmm?" She says turning down the radio.

"Can I umm... hold your hand?" She chuckles and reaches over to grab my fingers and lace them with hers. She switches lanes expertly and I can tell that its been a while since she actually smiled, and now that she has, she can enjoy herself. But sadly, I know that beautiful smile will soon fade when we reach florida. She wont have any words, just sobs. I would have to tell her that everythings okay and that her mothers in a better place and then as soon as we go back home, bailey might not talk to me for weeks.

I dont want that. I want her. I want to be able to hold her again. To smile with her and spend time with her. I really miss that. I miss waking up to see her bright smile, or to come home and relax after shows.

I brush my thumb over the back of her soft hand. I bring it up and kiss her knuckles gently and watch as her lips curl slightly into a smile.

I miss having this.
