It has been almost 5 months since we came to Minnesota and I'm pretty sure Bailey is in love with Stillwater.
Soon, Bailey and Marie came rushing in the doors with bags full of (hopefully) baby clothes and other baby things. Bailey and Marie were laughing about some random thing Marie had spat. Soon, baileys eyes land on me and I smile.
"hi babe," she says setting the bags down near the kitchen before walking into the living room where I was. "sorry it took longer then planned." Bailey started to give a little fake out and I playfully rolled my eyes.
"it's fine. Did you guys have fun?" I ask. Bailey sat down next to me with a sigh and shifted so she was part way facing me.
"yeah, I found a lot of cute 'behbeh' things." I smiled and brought her closer to me.
"do you want me to make you lunch?"
"no, it's fine I can do it." Bailey said attempting to get up. I placed my hand in front of her so she'd sit back down.
"no, no, no I can do it." Bailey sighed and nodded, sitting back down. I got up quickly and ran towards the kitchen.
I had brought back a couple sandwiches and Bailey sighed. "I want ice cream." she pouted.
"babe, that's not healthy. " Bailey huffed and slouched on the couch. "you shouldn't slouch too, it could cause back problems." Bailey sat up obviously aggravated.
"listen, so I was thinking that baby Ashton would have a blue safari themed room."
"but that seems so common and boring." I protested.
"well, what about under water?" Bailey said sounding a bit hurt.
"that seems common and boring too." I was trying my best to help out with the baby and try and help Bailey but every time I did she got upset. I was only trying to help. Why was she so upset and mad about things?
"you know Jonah you remind me of someone." this caught my attention.
"really, who?" I asked, clearly interested.
"my mom," she said harshly. She then got up and walked as fast as she could to my room.
Well, damn. Maybe she just wanted some rest or was bored. I should go help her and see if she needs me.
I got up and walked as fast as I could to try and catch up with Bailey. I saw her sit down on the bed and cover her face with her hands. Her elbows rested on the edge of her knees as she took in a few deep breaths.
"babe, do you need anything?" I asked quickly. Bailey practically groaned in her palms and didn't bother to look up at me.
"no."
"are you sure 'cause I can-"
"JUST SHUT THE FUCK UP!" She shouted standing up, her arms falling to her sides. I quickly shut my mouth and she covered her lips with her hands. "oh my gosh, Jonah I'm so sorry." it wasn't that big of a deal. Bailey was pregnant and the due date seemed to inch closer faster then planned. She was stressed and I knew that.
"it's fine. You are just stressed about the baby."
"it's not just the baby, Jonah."
"then what is it?"
"you! You've been treating me like a piece of glass! I'm plastic Jonah! I'm not going to break that easily! I can't go to the freaking bathroom without you walking me there like an old lady crossing the street. I need space! I can do things on my own." I sighed. I was just trying to help. Did she not want me to help her anymore? I just wanted everything to be 100% safe and okay for when Ashton comes.
