Caught between two.

Whats going on here

Connors arms around me felt amazing. Just like I had always imagined.

But there was always one feeling that it wasn't right.

"So when are we going to tell everyone?" Connor asked. "About, you know.... Us"

I swallowed the lump in my throat.

"Umm. I don't know." I answered. It was the only thing I could think to say.

I didn't want Jc to know. He would be guttered.

Connors arms around me tightened.

"You are thinking about Jc aren't you?"

I nodded.

He leant over and kissed my forehead, then my cheek, then my lips.

His body moved closer to mine

"Hey Conner do you know where Amber...." The question trailed off.

Jc was standing in the doorway.

Uh-oh

"What the fuck is this?" Jc's voice boomed through the house.

I scampered out of Connors bed and out of his arms. Chels appeared behind him in the doorway.

"Jc calm down" chels said. God bless her. She put her hand in Jc's shoulder but he aggressively shrugged it off.

"Get off me." He said.

"What's this about." He spat.

"Is it really that big of a deal?" Connor yelled back " back off man."

What have I done? They are best friends and look at them. Their faces were going red, my ears are ringing from their screaming voices.

I tried to zone back in to hear what was being said.

"You knew man! Wouldn't be surprised if you purposely got in an accident to get her attention!"

That's it.

" ENOUGH! Both of you! That's enough!"

Everyone in the house was crowded in the doorway watching. Not a word was said.

"Jc that was too far. How dare you!"

He looked down at the floor as if he knew he had done wrong.

I walked out of the room and into my guest room, locked the door, sat at my desk and started to write.

*3hrs later.*

Bags packed... Check.

Note written... Check.

Confidence seems to be missing.

Here we go.

I walked out of my bedroom as quietly as I could with my bags.

The house was dark and everyone was asleep.

I placed the note in plain view and walked out of the house..

I guess this was it. Time to go home.
