as the rising sun
brings light upon the dark
and let my lips trail the curves of your body,
igniting fire upon our hearts,
a mindless night under the sheets,
leaving the scent of my perfume lingering on your skin
and the faint marks of your kisses nestled on the crook my neck,
hidden fingerprints on arched backs.
let's wrap our arms around each other,
pull you closer to me,
a warm embrace
on another icy night.
