Skylers POV:
Ever since Jason Blossom got shot the week after July 4th, everything in Riverdale has changed. It is currently 2 weeks since then. I'm Skyler Fox. I live with my dad and my older brother, Alec. It was a Saturday which meant I didn't have any school today. Thank God. I got dressed, tied my long, brown hair in a high ponytail and went downstairs to eat breakfast. "Hey Alec." I said when I saw my brother at the table. "Hey. By the way if you're gonna ask, dad went to work." Alec replied. I smiled at him and ate my breakfast. I got up and washed the dishes. I just finished when I got a text.
I looked down at it and smiled. It was Jughead Jones. He is my best friend. Yeah, I know that I'm also friends with Archie, Veronica and Betty but Jughead and I have been friends since we were kids and he is always there for me no matter what. These were the text's:
Jug: Hey Sky.
Me: Hey Jug what's up?
Jug: Nothing much. Just at Pops.
Me: Can I come?
Jug: Yeah of coarse!
Me: I'll be there in 3 minutes ok?
Jug: See ya.
Me: Bye.
I arrived at Pops a little early, said hi to Pop and sat at one of the booths. Specifically the booth that Jughead and I usually sit at. "Hey Sky." Jughead said to me with his signature smirk as he sat down across from me. "Hey Jug" I reply with a smile. We started talking and laughing as usual and before we knew it, it had already been an hour. "Great. It's the snake that never sheds her skin." Jughead scowled. "Meaning...?" I asked curiously. "She doesn't change. She's two faced." When Jughead said that, I immediately knew who he was talking about. "Cheryl." The next moment, Jughead and I saw her stroll in, confidently. When she spotted us, she smiled like she wanted something.
