Skylers POV:

What we had just seen was Archie Andrews and Valerie kissing in the music room where the pussycats write and practice their songs. Jughead, Betty and I just talked about what we saw until Archie came out of the room. "Hey guys, what are we talking about?" Archie said, approaching us. "Um...Jughead and Sky were about to kiss! Yeah." Betty said and looked at us. Me and Jughead looked at her annoyingly as she knows we don't like to show public affection to each other. I rolled my eyes and Jughead and I turned to face each other. Jughead leaned in and kissed me. I pulled away and smiled at Archie and Betty. "Yep....come on Jughead...we have to get to the....blue and gold." I said nudging Jughead. "Yeah. We should go now..." Jughead replied, grabbing my hand and pulling me away.

"So that was awkward..." I said to Jughead. "Yep. Betty knows that we don't like showing public affection to each other. Why did she use that excuse!" Jughead replied. "Uhhh Jug....you're still holding my hand." I replied, laughing. "Right. Sorry I got carried away." Jughead answered and let go of my hand. "Oh you two lovebirds. We all know you guys are dating so you don't have to cover up." Cheryl added in from behind us who heard the whole thing and laughed. "Cheryl." Jughead whispered bitterly. "Our relationship is none of your business." He continued. "Well I'm just trying to help you hobo. As if anyone would like someone like you. Either Sky apparently has such low standards or she feels sorry for you." Cheryl replied and laughed as Jughead rolled his eyes and ran away in annoyance. "Cheryl. Why? And low standards? I really tried to be friends with you. I defended you. You really are a snake." I told Cheryl and ran to the place I knew Jughead would be in at this school.

"Jug? What she said was not true I promise." I asked as I entered the blue and gold news room. I saw his beanie on the table and picked it up, shoving it in my pocket. "Jug?" I asked once more. "Over here." He said from behind a desk. "Jug there you are." I replied and walked over to the desk. "Can I have my beanie back now?" Jughead replied as I handed him the beanie. He put it on his head and turned to face me. "It's fine. You don't have to explain yourself. Betty showed me a letter from the black hood." He said as he handed me the letter (A/n= btw I'm adding things from different episodes and mixing it up a little so yeah. Sorry if I'm confusing you also, there are spoilers so if you haven't watched the new episode then I recommend you watch it before reading this chapter and further others) I took the letter and read it in my head. "What? Why would the letter be directly to her. And she caused it? The speech. When she talked at the Jubelie!" I exclaimed, realising 2 seconds later. "Yep. The whole code thingy was fake. Now I can see why." Jughead replied seriously. "So what should we do now." I asked. "Well the sheriff knows. All the parents know except for my dad." Jughead replied. "Let's go tell him. We have to Jug." I said and he nodded. "Well if there's one thing I've learned being best friends with you for who knows how long now....it's that once your minds set on something, your determined to continue it. If that makes any sense." Jughead replied and got up as I followed him out the door.
