Skyler's POV:

"Guys do you mind?" Jughead asked and everyone nodded and left the room.

"What's up?" I asked and sat up.

"Why did you choose the window? It could have been Chloe down there." Jughead replied.

"It doesn't matter. I didn't want to take that risk." I said.

"Sky. You risked your arm for that. Look, I understand the situation with your brother but was it worth all that?" Jughead asked.

"Jughead. Do you trust me?" I asked and looked into his eyes.

"You know I do Sky." Jughead replied and kissed my hand.

"Is there anything else you would like to say to me before the nurse comes in and shoos you away?" I asked and smiled.

"I'm staying the night here. I care about you Sky and I'm not leaving until you do." Jughead said and I smiled.

Seconds later, the nurse came in. "Visiting hours are over."

"Oh I'm staying the night." Jughead replied.

The nurse nodded and came in 10 minutes later with a portable bed. After they got set up, I said goodbye to Archie, Veronica, and Kevin. I sighed and I felt Jugheads gaze linger on me before he fell asleep. Soon after, I fell asleep as well.

•••• (A/n= this means that time skipped)

The next morning, Jughead woke up first. Once I woke up, I saw Jughead in different clothes, and sitting in a chair in a corner. His eyes lit up once he saw me awake and fine.

"You're up." Jughead said and I nodded.

"Morning Juggy." I said and he came over to me and we kissed.

"Sorry, morning breath." Jughead said.

"You don't have to keep saying sorry when you have morning breath Juggy." I replied and smiled.

••••

Jughead and I were talking until the nurse came in. "Hi Kayla." I said.

"Hello sweetie. You're ready to leave if you would like." Nurse Kayla said.

"Thank you." I replied and smiled as I got up, Jughead helping me on the way.

"Juggy it's only my right arm-"

"Guys look! She's out!" Kevin shouted and ran towards us.

The rest of the gang ran over as well and Veronica hugged me. "You're out! That's great!"

"It's only a broken arm. I was only there for a day." I replied and laughed.

"We don't care. As long as you're back." Veronica said and she and Archie hugged us as well until I was a human bean bag.

••••

We were at Pops, chatting and laughing away, despite my broken arm. Until....Alec came in with Toni. Then, we made eye contact. There was no escaping now. I took a deep, shaky breath as everyone went silent and Jughead and I glared at him but Veronica, and Archie looked confused.

"Aren't you supposed to be in the Southside." I said, gritting my teeth and looking into his brown eyes.

"I knew that you would be here. And do you mind telling me what happened to your arm?" Alec said and pretended that nothing was wrong.

Everyone looked at me silently but I just stared at the table. I could feel Jugheads gaze on me linger on for the longest. "None of your business." I replied finally.

"Look, I may be in the Serpents now....but you're still my sister. I care about you. Whenever you're ready, talk to me. I'll be there to listen." Alec said and walked out with Toni.

"Alec is in the Serpents?!" Archie and Veronica exclaimed at the same time.

I nodded and leaned on Jugheads shoulder, sighing. "Why didn't you tell us Sky?!" Veronica exclaimed.

"Wait is that the reason why you broke your arm? How did you break your arm?" Archie asked and Jughead and I shared nervous looks.

I sighed and nodded to Jughead. "I jumped out of a window to escape Alec. Or whoever was downstairs." I replied and they all gasped. Veronica put her hand on my arm and sympathetically smiled.

"Well Betty's not here." I said and as soon as I said that, Betty walked in and started taking to Sheriff Keller. "Spoke too soon." I continued.

After she was finished with the Sheriff, Veronica called out. "Planning your next savage takedown?"

Betty just turned around and came over to us. She apologised and explained the whole thing. "Well you are going to tell Kev right?" Ronnie said.

"Yes of course." Betty replied.
