Chapter 19: Father

At that time, the door flew opened.

My vision got blurry but I saw 4 figures, running towards us.

When they got closer, I could see their face clearly and it was no one else but Jungkook, Young K, Taehyung and my mum.

"Eomma......"
I was only able to call my mum but she froze when she saw Ahjussi.

"Y-You..."
Her eyes widened and pointed at Ahjussi in disbelief.

"Put everything down before we call the police."
Young K demanded, glaring at the BLACKPINK and Ahjussi.

"What if we don't? Grab her!"
Lisa scoffed as Rose and Jisoo grabbed my arms roughly, causing me to whimper in pain.

Ahjussi and mum was staring at each other with teary eyes.

"Eun Mi! Let her go you daughter of a bitch."
Taehyung leaped forwards and kicked Rose's stomach hardly as she let go of my arm.

"You. I knew you were up to no good since the second I met you."
Jungkook pointed his index finger at Ahjussi as his eyes gleamed with anger and hatred.

"J-Jungkook. I didn't meant to h-hurt Eun Mi. P-Please hear me out."

Ahjussi took a step back, pleading Jungkook to listen to his explanations but Jungkook was impatient and furious.

"Don't listen to him. C-Call the police and let them arrest him. He almost killed my.. d-daughter."
My mum looked at him with terror, her hands shaking tremendously.

Meanwhile, Taehyung tied Lisa, Rose and Jisoo up.
But Jennie was cornered by Young K.

"Don't hurt me Oppa. I'll do anything you say. I'll give you everything you want."
Jennie said slyly, tracing her index finger on Young K's jawline seductively.

"Sorry but that stupid method you're using on me, will never work."
Young K smirked and yanked her hair down. He then tied up Jennie with the others.

Taehyung came to me and patted my back continuously.

"Everything will be okay. You'll be okay."
He said reassuringly and carried me bridal-style.

"T-Thanks Tae."
A weak smile crept across my dry lips, seeing how there's still some people who actually cares about me.

"We're here for you Eun Mi. For now, just shut up. We'll take you to the hospital."
Young K appeared behind Taehyung and smiled warmly.

"Any last words before the police comes?"
I saw Jungkook, grabbing Ahjussi's collar and pinned him on the wall.

My heart ached. Deep down, I still think that Ahjussi is innocent. Maybe he's being forced to kill people by Lisa. Maybe he has his own reasons.

When I asked him what was his name, he just told me to call him Ahjussi.

He looks like.. My dad. I've only saw my dad for once when I was a little kid.

"Jungkook don't hurt him."
I said weakly, causing everyone to turn their heads to me.

"What do you mean? Don't hurt him? He is a fucking murderer Eun Mi! He almost killed you!"
Jungkook's fiery eyes met my teary ones.

"H-He's not. He might have his own reasons too! Maybe he's forced by Lisa."
I protested.

"Shut up Eun Mi. Leave him to me. Take her to the hospital Taehyung. I'll meet you there later."
Jungkook turned back to Ahjussi as Taehyung and Young K took me to the hospital.

"I'll come soon. I need to deal with this man too."
My mum said before we left.

•Jungkook's POV•
"So, Lisa planned all of these? You worked for Lisa?"
I raised my brows, forcing him to speak.

"Y-Yes. I really didn't meant to hurt Eun Mi. You know that I'll never hurt her."
His eyes softened, what a fake ass...

"You will explain and tell me how much money Lisa gave you to kill Eun Mi or I'll kill you."

Mrs Song, the police officer and I listened carefully as Ahjussi explained what happened.

He didn't dared to run away since the BLACKPINK was behind the bars, pouting and he was handcuffed in the police station.

I stood up in rage after hearing his stupid excuses.
"Lisa?! Paying you $900,000 just to kill Eun Mi?! That's completely insane and stupid!"
I banged my fist on the table as they flinched.

"Calm down Jungkook-sshi. Let him continue."
The police officer sat me down in my seat.

"I'm sorry. I know what I did was wrong. Please forgive me. I needed the money to live."
Ahjussi pleaded the police officer continuously.

"What about your family? Do you have a wife? A child? Or your parents?"
The police officer questioned.

•Eun Mi's Mum POV•
He looked at me speechlessly and slowly shook his head.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. I would never forgive him after what he has done to me and my daughter.

"We'll check if what you're saying is true. For now, you still have to be locked up. Just for temporary."
The police officer said.

For some reasons, my heart dropped. Or more like my heart ached, but still, I'll be a strong woman. I will not trust anyone so easily anymore.

"I understand. I deserved it anyways."
He sighed and looked down.

I told Jungkook to wait for me outside the police station.

As soon as Jungkook left, I dragged him by his wrist and took him to a corner.

"How is it without me? My dear Hye Jin?"
He stroked my hair back.

"You even hurt your own daughter. I can't believe what a monster you are. You are really unbelievable, Lee Sang Woo."
I finally said his name, after so many years.

"You've gotten prettier, so is our little Eun."
He chuckled softly as he pulled me in for a hug.

It's been years since someone ever did this to me.
And the last person to do this to me was him.

"It's good to see you, Hye Jin. I hope we can meet up soon. And I suggest you not to tell Eun Mi about me. She'll be unhappy."
He said before leaving me there, alone with tears.

"I didn't even plan on telling her. You monster.."

•Jungkook's POV•
Eun Mi's mum still hasn't come out of the police station so I decided to look for her.

But a familiar voice caught my attention, I looked at a corner and saw Eun Mi's mum and Ahjussi, talking.

He was caressing her hair back, they looked and sounded like they knew each other.

Curiosity took over me, so I overheard their whole conversation.

Please don't tell me that this is Eun Mi's father....
