Chapter 30: Woman In Black

"What messages?"
Jimin and the rest of the hyungs joined over.

"Well.. It said that Hyun Ji will die soon, it said that it will get its revenge. It also said that this is all my fault.."
I said, looking down to my trembling hands as a tear fell down.

"Whoever it is, he or she is being a bitch.."
Jin Hyung chirped out and crossed his arms.

"Hyung.. What if I lose my baby and Eun Mi? What am I going to do?"
I looked up to Jimin, who was always there for me.

"Kookie, whatever happens, we'll be here for you and we'll protect Eun Mi and Hyun Ji together okay? Don't worry. We'll keep a look out for them too."
Jimin hugged me tightly as I sobbed quietly against his chest.

"And also, don't let Eun Mi walk out alone at night. It's dangerous to leave her in the dark."
Namjoon added and I nodded.

I felt relieved and safe to see so many people caring about my family but I'm worried at the same time.

•Eun Mi's POV•
"Jungkook-ah? Is that you?"
I heard the doorbell ringing and I quickly tucked Hyun Ji to bed and rushed to the door.

"Jungkook-ah?"
I opened the door and to my surprise, a woman in all black with a hoodie on her head was standing in front of me.

I couldn't really see her face since it was dark outside but I could see that she's around my mum's age.

"Hello? Who are you looking for?"
I questioned and raised an eyebrow.

"Hello darling, are you Eun Mi?"
She said, her voice sounding a little hoarse.

I slightly nodded my head.
"Yes. I'm Eun Mi, and you are?"

I saw a small smirk appearing on her dry lips which crept me out.

"Can I come in? Is your daughter here?"
She asked and took a step closer towards me.

"How do you know that I have a daughter?.."
I stepped backwards and started to get suspicious of this woman.

Who is she?

"Honey, please don't be afraid, I won't hurt you."
She said but that scared me even more.

"Look, I don't know who you are but-"
I stopped when I heard Jungkook calling out to me.

"Eun Mi!"
He ran over and hugged me tightly.

"Baby are you okay?"
He pulled away and cupped my cheeks, looking into my eyes deeply with love and care.

"I'm okay but.."
I looked at the woman who was still smirking widely.

Jungkook followed my gaze and he looked furious yet worried.

"Who are you? What do you want?"
He stepped up in front of me protectively and stared at the woman.

"Ah Jungkook. Worldwide famous I see. Congratulations on your new comeback but I must be going."
She turned around but before she was able to leave, Jungkook caught her arm and spun her around.

"Don't ever come back here again."
He said boldly before letting her go as she scoffed and ran away.

Jungkook sighed and turned to me. I instantly wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my face in the crook of his neck.

"Jungkook thank you.. I was so scared.. She asked about Hyun Ji and everything.."
A tear escaped my eye but I was relieved and felt safe again when Jungkook's arms were locked around my waist.

"It's okay Eun Mi. I'm here now so stop crying. You'll be safe as long as I exist in this world."
We pulled away and I slightly chuckled at his cheesy words.

"That's a bit cheesy don't you think?"
He smiled and we head inside.

"Is Hyun Ji asleep?"
He asked as he took off his jacket and hung it on the hanger.

"I think so. You know she's a light sleeper."
I gestured him to go check on her while I prepared his supper.

•Jungkook's POV•
"Hyun Ji-ah?"
I whispered softly as I opened her bedroom door.

I tip-toed inside and sat on the side of her bed, watching her angelic face. She looks exactly like her mum.

My hands voluntarily rested on her head and started to caress her long and silky hair.

"Boo!"

She suddenly opened her eyes and jumped into my arms, wrapping her short arms around my neck.

"Appa! You're back. Why didn't you eat dinner with me and mummy? Mummy bought me lamb skewers!"
She pursed her lips cutely and pouted.

"Daddy needs to work sweetheart. I'll try to eat dinner with you and mummy next time okay?"
I ruffled her hair as she giggled, placing a soft peck on my cheeks before yawning.

"Me sleepy."
Her eyelids slowly closed down and soon, light snores could be heard.

"Aish, this kid.."
I shook my head and chuckled, putting her back onto her bed and putting the covers above her tiny body.

Just as I was tucking her in, I saw plasters and bandages on her elbow and knees.

What happened? I shrugged off my thoughts and decided to ask Eun Mi about it.

"Good night sweetie."
I bent down to her level and kissed her forehead before going down to the kitchen.

•Eun Mi's POV•
"Drink up. It's black bean soup."
I shoved the bowl of soup towards Jungkook who was sitting across from me.

"What happened to Hyun Ji's elbow?"
He asked worriedly as he drank the soup.

I looked down and sighed.
"Some boys bullied her. They pushed her down and she got hurt on her elbow and knees."
I explained.

He nodded numbly.
"Did you tell her to kick their koo koo if they ever bully her again?"

"Of course or I will be the one chopping off their koo koo!"
We chuckled and he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear.

"You're still my little childish baby."
He pinched my cheeks and I whimpered.

"Yah! Isn't Hyun Ji our baby? I'm a mother now. I'm not a baby anymore Jungkookie."
I pouted as he chuckled.

I loved seeing his bunny smile that never fails to turn me on. His bangs covering his forehead made him look so cute and hot at the same time.

I wanted time to stop or maybe, I wanted to go back to the past when he was never busy with work.

"Good night sweetheart."
He pulled me into his embrace as we were laying down on our bed.

I instantly dug my face into his chest and took in his scent, locking my arms around his neck.

"Good night Kookie."
I planted a soft kiss on his cheeks before closing my eyes while feeling his hot breath on my neck, sending shivers down to my spine.

"Don't let the bugs bite."
He ruffled my hair and I groaned in annoyance.

"Oh come on! I was about to fall asleep! Go to sleep will you!"
I hit his head playfully as he giggled.

"Araseo princess.. Araseo.."

A/N: Decided to make this Chapter a little bit fluffy for those innocent readers. It's not that fluffy tho.. And I, for some reasons, cringed while I wrote this Chapter 😂
