"Call me when you get home, so I know you're safe."
Heartthrob and ER doctor Jordan Kiffin connected his lips to pediatrician Leigh-Anne Pinnock's cheek. A smile spread across her face. Jordan had never done something like that before, given that he wanted to take it slow and not move too fast. A kiss was a step in the right direction.
"I'll call you. When do you get off your shift?" Leigh-Anne asked curiously.
"Around 4 AM" Jordan replied calmly.
"Can you call me when you come home?" Leigh-Anne asked hopefully.
"You care about me?" He smirked.
"Of course I do, idiot" she said softly.
"I care about you too. I'll call you when I get home, if that's what you wish."
He gave the kindhearted pediatrician's cheek another kiss. Disconnecting his lips from her skin, he wished her goodnight. After that, he made his way back to the hospital. Leigh-Anne smiled like an idiot. She certainly hadn't expected a kiss on the cheek from Jordan, let alone that he'd make his patient wait so he could follow her to her car.
Feeling on top of the world, Leigh-Anne buckled up her seat-belt, then she rummaged through her bag, trying to find the car keys that seemed to disappear everytime she needed them. She was too busy looking for her keys that she didn't see when the passenger door opened and closed.
"Going somewhere?" An emotionless female voice asked.
Looking up from her bag, the pediatrician's dark brown eyes registered a woman. She was dressed in a black hoodie and black jeans. The hood was up, so Leigh-Anne couldn't see her face. But she didn't need to see it to understand that the woman sitting in the passenger seat was someone Leigh-Anne should run away from.
"You're her, aren't you?" Leigh-Anne asked, fear evident in her voice.
"Say her name" the woman demanded.
"Jade The Ripper, you're her."
Satisfied with the answer, that also turned out to be correct, Jade pulled down her hood. A smile crept across her face when she sensed the dark-skinned woman's fear. Gripping the knife she kept hidden in her pocket, she leaned in.
"I am your worst nightmare" Jade whispered coldly in Leigh-Anne's ear.
Jade pulled the knife out from the pocket. Chuckling like the cold-blooded murderer she was, she ignored Leigh-Anne's "please" and "I'll do anything, please, don't kill me", and shoved the sharp weapon into her stomach.
Leigh-Anne screamed out in pain. Her scream nearly made Jade deaf. The murderer pulled out the knife from her victim's stomach, then she stabbed her again, and again, and again. The pain seemed to get worse with every stab.
A huge amount of blood flowed from every wound, soaked the pediatrician's turquoise doctor clothes. The dark red liquid poured from her mouth, stained her already bloody hospital clothes even more.
"Please...stop" Leigh-Anne pleaded.
"Not until you're dead" Jade said coldly.
It wouldn't be long until Leigh-Anne bled out. She had lost so much blood within the three minutes Jade had been in her car, stabbing her with her knife. Jade knew her victim would bleed out soon and she wanted to make the most of her last minutes with her first victim of the night.
"Should've locked the doors, doctor. It's not safe to keep them unlocked when there's a murderer on the loose."
Laughing like a complete psychopath, Jade pulled the knife out of Leigh-Anne's left breast. She then shoved the knife into her victim's heart. A muffled groan slipped from Leigh-Anne's lips, then her eyes fluttered closed and all her organs shut down.
