Simon had already imagined finding
himself in that situation.
Jace hovering over him.
But actually, it was a
very different situation.
How long could he still deny that
he'd been avoiding Jace ?

He could.
He swallowed hard and looked away.
The other sighed.
It was becoming ridiculous.
Simon couldn't even look at him.
A 'Why ?' lingered in the air, uttered by both of them, for reasons that were so different.
Then the bell rang and Jace disappeared swallowed by a crowd of people.
