he sat at their lunch table. Brows
furrowed, he glanced at Clary who
was sporting an irritated expression
too. The blond huffed, searching
Simon with his gaze, hoping he'd
decipher the girls' mood for him.
Simon wasn't there.
Simon didn't show.
Neither did Rafael or Magnus.
Alec was oddly silent about the whole thing.
Except for one sentence :
"You're an idiot."
And truly, by now, Jace knew it.
