Chapter 14

Jack

Elsa flies beside me. Her face fully compiled with rage. The tip of her wings start off with a faded black. The ash grey colour travelled further across Elsa body. Her arms and legs becoming darker by the day and her hair ends still a fully black colour. Toothless flies behind is with Merida and Hiccup. The rest riding a horse to keep watch of any signs from the ground. Pitch either attacking from the air or ground. Hopefully Winter doesn't  receive a worse condition while we away. The guardians is left in her care until we return.

"I don't think we will make it by tonight. Corona is at least a two day ride and North has strictly demanded us from using portals since he said it is easier for Pitch to track us. "Rupuzel states through her earpiece. Although we don't often use technology but it is the only resource to keep Pitch from mendaling in. "Do we set up camp for the night then?" Kristoff asks. I look back at Elsa. The determination written across her face. Using my forefinger I place it on my earpiece. "Rather continue till we all feel tired"I suggest. Everyone agrees.

Knowing Elsa she won't settle down till her wings cave in. We fly for hours while the rest ride. Anna and Rupunzel creating light from the ground. While Toothless randomly shot nightpulses when it got dim at times. Elsa eyes start to flutter close. I look at her with concern. Soon enough her wings give in. "Elsa!" I dart forward with my staff. The ice surging through my hand. As I reach Elsa a few feathers of her wings flutter pass me. I catch Elsa bridal style.

Her head rest against my chest while her eyes are close. "Jack. Elsa wings. "Hiccup states. I look at her wings to see as to why the white feathers flew pass me. It is replaced with dark black wings. Not fully bit at various parts of her wings. The ash grey colour travels up towards her neck. Swirls reaching her cheeks. "Everyone rest for the night" I demand through my earpiece. We descend towards the earth. I land gently on the ground. "What happened?" Anna asks. I shrug and place Elsa down. Rupunzel seats herself beside me. Flynn standing right behind her. "Seems like you haven't really noticed"Noticed what?"

Rupunzel sighs and removes the bottle of water from her bag. "Everytime the darkness comsumes Elsa it comes as a pulse. Within a few days the darkness reaches a new point in her body and with that the darkness grows from the inside out. Though you have seen the feature changing. Elsa mind could be consumed by Pitch at any point if he comes any time and triggers something or reluctantly accepts his offer". Elsa shifts a little and turns her onto her side. Anna creates a small fire with the help of Kristoff. Toothless laying beside it while his tail cups Merida. Hiccup leaning himself against Toothless wing.

Rupunzel falls asleep while Flynn,Kristoff,Hiccup and I keep watch. Anna keeps watch on Elsa. "Hey Hic what you up to?" Flynn asks. "Studying. "I arch my brow as I bite into one of the chocolate bites Anna packed in. "What exactly?" I ask. He gulps. "Elsa"he simply states. "Why are you studying her?" Kristoff asks. "I've noticed. Anger triggers the darkness the most but even when she is not angry it some how as well triggers it. The potion has weared off. If I'm correct-"That's a big fat if"Flynn adds with a chuckle.

Hiccup glares at him. "Fine continue"As I was saying Elsa can somehow allow the darkness to shift to ice. Since it runs with her power"Can it just regenerate?" I asks slightly confused. "Not exactly I got a sample before Merida gave it to Elsa. The potion obtains what is already inside. Meaning the source of Elsa powers. If Elsa can fluctuate the darkness and perhaps with the usage of your ice,Rupunzel powers and Sandy golden sand combined it can destroy it but it's just a theory"

"If your theory does not work?" We find the floor or face a darker side of Elsa that wants to be unleashed. "I sigh and look at Elsa. I look back at the moon and down at my staff. "We must leave by sunrise. If we take this way we will probably be by Corona sooner than expected"Flynn says while indicating to the open field. I keep my staff with a firm grip in my hand and lean back onto the rock.

I wake up to a bright light been shined into my face. My eyes open to see the sun rays gleaming in our direction. The others soon awaken. "We need to start heading off to Corona. Elsa you not flying"Jack I can fly on my-"No"I state with strict tone. "Hiccup,Meruda take off so long with Toothless. I will join in a few minutes". They nod and settle themselves onto Toothless. The dragon immediately launching itself into the air. Elsa hugs herself while her wings hang low on her back. Showing she's sad.

"Elsa I'm doing this for your safety. At this current moment you not stable enough to fly. Some of you feathers have already turned dark"But I-" Don't even try to argue". She sighs. I plant a kiss on her forhead. "Walk for so long. It safer" She nods in agreement and starts walking between the horses. Two on each of her side. I quickly summon the wind and take flight.

I keep my eyes on alert. Although taking a few glances down at Elsa to make sure she is okay. We fly for a few hours. I spot an object in the far distance and immediately recognise it's the Corona castle. "We not far from our kingdom"Flynn says to Rupunzel. I simply laugh at him.
