Chapter 17

Hiccup

I rush down with the maid towards the stables. She swiftly guides me through the castle towards the stable. A blue light exits the stable. I enter to see the gaurds with their weapons ready. I stand in front of Toothless with my arms stretched out. "Stop! This is my dragon. My creature. Do not hurt him and he will not hurt you"They back away from Toothless and I.

The rest arrive and pant. Meaning they ran towards the stables. Elsa and Jack land on the ground.

I rub Toothless wings trying to calm him. He places his head on my hand and gently rubs against it. He makes himself comfortable in the haystack and slowly shuts his eyes. "He will wake up later. "Oh my"Arianna gasps when seeing Toothless. "Do you perhaps any seafood to provide him with?" Sure. Brian!" Arianna calls to a guard. He strides over with his horse and removes his helmet.

I look at him strangely. Something does not feel right about his presence. His hazel eyes and black hair already tell me. His fingertips are an ash grey colour. "Hey Brian. "He startles a little when seeing me. "Sir. Might I ask who are you?" You know who I am...Pitch"Indeed I do". He raises his hand and strikes sand at Arianna. She falls on her back. "Toothless!" I fall. He immediately wakes up and blast at Pitch.

Elsa releases multiple shards of ice while Jack blasts him. Merida pulls out her bow and shoots. Flynn and Kristoff try to pry off a few horses. I pull out my sword and immediately light it. Slashing through the horses. "Toothless now!" He blasts a midnight pulse and I combine it with my lit sword. Sending it hurling towards Pitch. It forces straight through him. He stumbles back and summons his horses.

He disappears between the dark sand. The Queen awakens and rubs her head. "Brian ha-"That was not Brian. Pitch took his form. He probably has Brian in his clutches"I say while placing my sword back in my holder. "He followed us here. Trying to prevent Arianna from telling us about the cure"Jack says.

We help Arianna back into the castle. We land up in the same room we were in before. She seats herself on the chair. Panting slightly. Rupunzel heals her mother and steps back. Her mother pants a little before signalling to Fredrick. He nods and walks to a glass cased book. He removes the glass and brings the book towards the table.

Arianna flips through the pages. Landing in the middle of the book. "This is a map to the Sun flower origin. Although many have travelled in hope if finding it the pathway would always lead to an end. I believe there is some secret passage into this field of Sun flowers. "

We all stare at the page. Looking at the different locations wjuvh we need to travel through. "It is a two day trip. If you leave now you would reach the place sooner. "We similtanously nod. Quickly rushing to the stables and gathering everything we need. "Hiccup?" I turn around to face Merida. Her bow and arrow strap to her back.

"What if we encounter Pitch? Ya know all this equipment is not always reliable". I place my hands on her shoulders and force her to look up to me. "We will defeat Pitch. Together we stronger and we have Toothless"I assure her. She nods and walks pass me. Feeding Toothless before we leave.

Jack and Elsa walks back towards the stables. Both with worried and sad expressions. "We need to get going now"Elsa says. "In a few Elsa. Anna and Kristoff are just bringing some edibles for the journey. Have you spoken to North yet?" I ask. "We just did. He says Winter is becoming worse each day. Estimating she has a week max to live. My blood seems to be helping with her lasting life. "Jack explains.

Soon enough we bid goodbye and head off. Rupunzel holding the map in her hands. We rude for hours until the Sun starts to set. Merida already asleep while resting her head on my back. Toothless lowers his distance above the ground and flat just above the rest. My gaze shifts to Elsa and Jack who are flying perfectly fine.

"Down boy". He nods and Toothless lands on the ground. Walking with Meruda and I through the fire st while following Rupunzel with the map. Elsa and Jack land as well and follow.

"We need start setting up soon. The sun won't provide much light later. "Anna says

We walk further into the forest and reach a section of it. The plants glowing a neon colour. The water glowing as well. "This is how the kingdom looks at night. The pure magic that flows within it allows all life to glow. I've not seen this in a long time"Rupunzel says. She climbs off her horse while admiring the scene.

We walk further into the forest. The water an absolutely  extravagant blue. Glowing ad if it soarkles in the day. Merida smiles at scenery around.
I gently grasp her hand. Lacing our fingers together. I lean me for head against her's. "Hiccup thus sudden romantic mood pop up?" I don't know Mer". I kiss her lips and straddle my arms on her hips. I pull away from her and smile. Mesmerising her green eyes.

"Come. Let us go and explore"
