since Finn told me to tag him in the picture he took, I followed him and went onto his page. I started scrolling through pictures that he posted and smiled. They were cute.
"whatcha smiling about?" he asks, leaning over.
"your posts. they're adorable." I answered, not looking up from the phone.
"my posts? on what?" He asked.
"Instagram, duh." I said.
"c-chloe no, stop!" he somewhat yelled.
"what, why?" I asked, curiously. He seemed so intimidated by what I was doing on his Instagram.
"Just- please Chloe!" he replied.
"why are you acting like this Finn?" I sadly asked. He usually wasn't like this. Well, he wasn't like this with me.
"Are you always this stubborn?" He sarcastically asked. It sort of made me second-guess what kind of person he actually was.
"If i'm so stubborn then why did you bring me here?" I wasn't exactly arguing (yet) I was just simply curious.
he didn't answer...
he tried,
but he didn't.
"ok..well if i'm so stubborn..I guess I'll just go." I sighed and stood up, walking away.
"Chloe, wait"
"what Finn?"
"its dark, don't you want me to walk you home?"
"no thanks, its not like you made it any safer anyways." I said, which was a lie because he did make me feel safe. I was just hurt.
He mumbled something, but I didn't even bother to look back. What was the point? I was just annoying to him.
maybe he just wanted to use me...
I shook the thought out of my head, as I passed through the ally with Finn's friends.
"oh look, its Finn's mystery girl" one said.
"did he fuck you yet?" another one said with a laugh, causing the rest to join in.
I didn't answer, instead I just kept walking.
until one of them stopped me.
"Hey, isn't it a little late for a non-city girl to be walkin around?" he grinned.
I didn't make eye contact, because stranger danger?
then again, I let Finn walk me home, and he was a stranger so..
"why don't I give you a ride home?" said the boy.
I looked up.
"A ride?"
he pointed to a shiny, black motorcycle parked up against the ally wall.
"o-oh, uh I don't know"
" c'mon, it'll be fine. its better than walkin down these streets alone at night." He insisted.
I finally gave in.
"ok fine." I told him where I lived, just like I once told Finn when we first met.
"hold on, tight."
