I sang along to some music while I cleaned up my flat. Eleanor had been successful in getting Adrienne, Celine, and even Gigi in agreeing to a girls' night in. So they were all coming to my place to hang out. Eleanor was in charge of food, Gigi was in charge of drinks, Adrienne was bringing some movies, and Celine was bringing face masks and stuff like that. As a surprise I had bought us all matching pajamas for later that night. Yeah it was kind of lame but I knew at least three of the four girls coming over would think it's cute. This was my first time meeting Gigi so I didn't know what she would think. Just as I finished cleaning there was a knock at the door. I went to open it and saw El and Adrienne.

"Hey El! Hey Ade! Come on in!" They both said hi and we exchanged hugs. Then I helped El set up the food in the dining room. Shortly after Celine arrived. The four of us caught up while we waited for Gigi. It was really nice to see them all again. I hadn't seen Adrienne or Celine since Liam and I "broke up". At the time it was easier to just cut off contact with everyone. Gigi ended up calling Eleanor since she was lost so El handed the phone to me. I gave the model directions to my flat from where she was and she soon joined us. She was not what I expected at all. She was really sweet and down to earth. I showed the girls the pajamas I had bought and they all thought they were really cute. We gossiped for awhile and talked. I trusted Gigi enough to tell her the truth about the "relationship" with Liam. It was mostly just because I didn't want to pretend when Gigi was the only one who didn't know. She swore she wouldn't tell anyone and I believed her. We moved on from me and Liam to Niall and Celine.

"Cel, please tell us what happened," Ade begged.

"Yeah it's just us girls and we aren't going to tell any one. I've been so out of the loop though. I didn't even know you guys broke up until El told me," I added.

"Fine, fine. I'll tell you guys. After the guys went on hiatus he changed. I mean I was so excited to have him home more. But it wasn't like I wanted. We were fighting all the time. And he would start the fights over stupid things too. After a few months I had enough. I told him if his attitude didn't change I was leaving because I deserved to be treated better. I loved him but I couldn't take the fighting anymore. He replied if that's how i felt then I should just leave then. I packed a bag for the night and went to crash at a friends. I went back the next day and got my stuff. It hurt a lot because I thought he was the one you know? I loved him so much. I don't know what came over him. But he wasn't himself once the hiatus started," she explained. "We kept it quiet because I didn't want to answer twenty thousand questions about it when I was really hurting." I rubbed her back frowning. The guy she had described sounded nothing like Niall at all. I wonder what happened. After talking a bit longer we decided to watch some movies. In the middle of Pitch Perfect my phone rang. I left the room and picked it up seeing that it was Liam's mum Karen.

"Hello?"

"Kristen? It's Karen Payne," she said, sounding slightly distressed.

"Hi Karen. How can I help you?" I was a little confused as to why she was calling me. I hadn't spoken to her in well over a year.

"I really have no right to ask this of you. I know you and my son broke up a long time ago. But he was in a car accident. He's awake and he seems to be alright. He has some broken ribs, a minor concussion, and a broken arm. He's asking for you though. I was under the impression that you two weren't on speaking terms so if you don't want to come I understand." I stood in my kitchen in shock. Liam was in car accident? "Kristen?"

"No, um, I'll be there. What hospital is he at?"

"He's at St. Bart's."

"I'll be there soon. Thank you for calling me," I said.
