"One and two and three and four," I said as I showed my former students a combination. Their new teacher, my friend Alicia, had to go away for a week to visit family. So she asked me to take over the advanced class. I gladly agreed. They quickly caught on and started doing it themselves. We were just having a fun class because I missed working with them. We did some more combinations before I ended class early and we all just talked. They had a ton of questions and I answered them all happily. After class had officially ended I decided to work on a routine for a new dance video. To be honest I was killing time at the studio. The longer I spent there the smaller chance of running into Liam. I had been avoiding him the best I could since the club incident. I needed to stay away from him to figure out how I felt. It was driving me crazy though. Liam was in all my thoughts.

"Whoop whoop!" I heard along with claps, interrupting my thoughts. I stopped and rolled my eyes when I saw Liam smirking.

"Can I help you Payne? How'd you even know I was here?" I asked, grabbing my water.

"You mentioned it late last week and I wanted to see you dance again so I thought I'd stop by. What are you working on?"

"A routine to Pillowtalk. Viewer request. But I'm starting to think I need a partner to really make it come together." He nodded and looked thoughtful for a minute.

"What about me?" I gave him a confused look.

"You want to be in my video?" He nodded.

"Yeah why not? I've been getting more into dance in my music videos. I enjoy dancing and it'll help you out. What do you say?" I thought about it for a minute. It may not be the best idea with my feelings for him. But at the same time I couldn't help myself. In my head the dance was sensual. This meant it was a chance to be close to him.

"If you really want to that'd be great Liam. Just a heads up it's not a hip hop routine. We'll be dancing closely. If you're up for that then yeah. We can do the video together." He smirked and pulled me close quickly. I gasped softly and looked up at him surprised.

"You think I'm worried about dancing close to you?" He whispered. I rolled my eyes and stepped away from him, willing my heart to stop pounding in my chest. "Want to get started now?" He asked, starting to pull off his jumper, revealing a black wife beater underneath.

"Yeah sure if you're ready now we can start," I replied forcing myself not to stare at his biceps. I thought I saw him smirk but I ignored it. I started trying to teach him the dance I envisioned in my head. We worked for an hour before I decided to stop since Liam wasn't used to long intense dance practice like I was. I tried to catch my breath as I handed Liam my water figuring he needed it more than I did. He took it gratefully and drank a couple gulps before handing the bottle back to me. I drank some as well. "You're catching on quickly." He smiled at my praise.

"Glad I'm doing well teach." I rolled my eyes at him. "So you doing anything tonight?"

""Not sure yet. I should probably edit since I won't have much time to do that this week. Why?"

"Just wondering if you wanted to go to a club with me."

"Oh Liam I'm not sure that's a good idea. I got so drunk last time I went out. I've been purposely trying to stay in just so I don't do that again."

"Come on Krist. Last time it was a party. This time will just be two friends hanging out. The atmosphere will be totally different."

"I can't Liam. I have a class really early tomorrow," I replied. He looked so bummed that I almost wanted to say yes to going clubbing. "Tell you what, once I'm done helping out here we can go out clubbing. I promise."

"Saturday night?" He asked, grinning.

"Alicia's first day back is Monday and there is weekend classes. How's next Friday work?" He thought for a moment before nodding.

"Just don't cancel on me."

"I won't I swear. Next Friday we're going out," I replied. He nodded and smiled. "Alright I don't know about you but I'm out of here." I started to get up. He stood as well and grabbed my bag for me.

ONE WEEK LATER

I sighed as I sat on Fiona and Andy's couch. I didn't know what I was gonna do about clubbing with Liam Friday. I couldn't cancel on him but I didn't want to do anything while I was drunk. Luckily Andy was over at Liam's along with Maz so Fiona and I could talk freely.

"I have an idea. Just tell Liam how you feel Krist."

"I can't do that Fi. We've had so many conversations about just being friends. Plus he must be over me by now don't you think?"

"I really don't think he is Kristen. I genuinely think he still has feelings for you. You didn't see him after your contract ended. He was heartbroken. The only reason he pretended he was okay at all was that he didn't want another fake girlfriend. He only wanted you." I shook my head.

"I don't want to risk him not being in my life again. I can't tell him." Fiona sighed and looked disappointed I wouldn't talk to Liam. We changed the topic for awhile talking about how we should plan a girls vacation soon with Lidia. We used to go to the beach for a week every summer but the past couple years had been so busy that we hadn't been able to. As much as I tried to steer the conversation away from Liam eventually the topic came back around.

"At least tell him you remember the club. Every time it gets brought up around me I want to tell him and Andy but I can't. I really hate lying to Andy."

"What am I supposed to say Fi? Hey this is gonna be random and I'm really sorry but I lied to you about the club. I remember making out with you? And what about when he asks why I lied?"

"I don't know Krist but please tell him something."

"I can't Fiona. If I told him I remember making out in the club then I'd I have to admit everything." Fiona didn't reply. Instead just looked behind me. Before I could turn I heard Liam's voice.

"You remember the club? I thought you were too drunk?" He asked. I turned around quickly and looked at him. We must have been too into the conversation to hear the front door open.
