My life was never easy. It wasn't simple, wasn't normal, and let's just say shit just doesn't work for me. But this... This I'm hoping will change my life around for good. The tires of the bus I rode on squealed to a stop in front of a street called dirnam Lane (a/n:correct me if I'm wrong). Shouldering the one duffle bag I brought, I stepped off the bus, glad to be off that death trap. I then walked to where my friend, Sophie, lived. As I approched the porch, I noticed a boy sitting on the porch next door. He had a cigarette in his mouth, surrounded by smoke. I didn't stare for too long, though, just as the door in front of me opened to reveal Sophie.
"Oh my gosh! (Y/n)!" She squealed, tackle-hugging me. She then pulled me inside, closing the door. It was a nice house, that much I could say.
"Hey Soph. Thanks again for... You know, taking me in."
"Oh it's no problem. I'm surprised that you decided to move after that crazy incident.'
"Yeah... Crazy." I said, rubbing the back of my head. What she didn't know was that was the reason why I moved.
"Anywho. There is some nice eye candy next door."
"Oh really?" I asked.
"Yup. But that's beside the point. Your room is down the hall on the left."
"Okay, great." I said, picking up the bag. I went to the room she directed me to and opened the door. Inside there was a window across from me, and in the left corner there was a twin bed with a desk beside it. And across from the bed was one of those sliding closets. I sighed, deciding to unpack. I first placed the one family picture I had. It was the three of us, my parents and I. Then I tossed all the clothes I packed into the closet, it not being s whole lot. Running my hands through my hair, I decided it was time to meet the neighbors.

Once I approched the porch, I noticed that the brunette was still there. Since I was closer I got a better look at him. And damn, Sophie was right. He was eye candy. His hair was a light brown, spiked with two horns on top. His Auburn eyes looked into mine.
"Hey. You must be new." He said in a Norwegian accent as I nodded.
"Yup. I'm (y/n)." I said, placing my hands into my Jean pockets. He blew a smoke cloud, it dissapearing in seconds.
"Well, (y/n). The name's tord." God, that accent of his was just wonderful. I loved hearing him say my name... No! Focus (y/n)!
"So... You live by yourself?" I asked.
"Nah. There's three other boys." He said.
"Four guys in one house? That's gotta be crowded."
"That's why I'm out here." He said like it was obvious.
"Right." I said, he looking at me.
"Are you just gonna stand there awkwardly or are you gonna sit by me?" He asked.
"I will if you'd scoot over." I shot back, he smirking and did just that. I joined him, having just a few feet between us.
"You and I are gonna get along just fine, (y/n)." He smirked, I smiling at this Norwegian boy I just met.
