(Two months later)

The trio and I were currently walking down the street, in the rain no less. All because Edd ran out of cola and the car was in the shop so walking was the only option.
"Ugh this rain is so annoying." Tom complained.
"You're so annoying." Edd retorted from the front.
"I hope it ends soon." Tom growled, ignoring edd.
"I hope you end soon." Edd said.
"As ever edd your sense of humor never ceases to amaze me." Tom said somewhat sarcastically.
"Was that an insult?" Edd asked.
"You figure it out." Tom said.
"Guys." I said, stopping them before they could continue to argue. As we continued to walk the rain stopped, we all standing across from an alleyway. It seemed familiar, but I couldn't remember. Then a shadow moved into the light, it being an older version of..
"Edd?" I asked.
"What is it?" He asked from beside me, I pointing to the older version of edd.
"Who's that sinister looking man?" Matt asked.
"Looks like edd. But with a beard." Tom said.
"Don't be silly. Only tom can grow a beard."
"I have a disorder!" Tom complained.
"Guys! He's gone!" I exclaimed, they all looking for him. Then out of nowhere, an hand grabbed my arm and pulled me aside. I looked up to see him beside me.
"Project Echo. Why are you here?" He asked me. I pulled away as tom stood in front of me.
"Project echo?" Tom and Matt asked.
"Long story." I growled.
"Why are you here?"
"As you may have figured it out, I'm from the far future here to prevent her from becoming Tord's minion." He pointed a gun at me, which Tom's eyes widened.
"Tord's minion?"
"From the future?"
"Guys, enough! How do you know about me?" I asked, stepping up to him.
"Because (y/n). You were my friend. Until the day he came back and you chose to go with the one person who turned you into the monster you are."
"She is not a monster." Tom said behind me.
"Yes I am." I said.
"My point exactly." Future edd said, his gun now turning Into one more appropriate for the time he was from.
I didnt have time to react, only to close my eyes as the gun fired. Luckily it didn't hit us as someone stopped it. I opened my eyes to see a cloaked figure stand between us.
"Go!" She yelled, we not needing to be told twice. Running as fast as we could, we managed to get away and take refuge in a local diner. We all sat in a booth, tom and I on one side, Matt and edd on the other. Catching our breaths, tom and I both looked at each other and thought the same thing:
"What the hell?"
"What the hell indeed." The same cloaked woman from before said, standing beside me. I immediately backed Into tom.
"Please, if I wanted to hurt you I would've already." She sighed, pulling her hood down to reveal a (s/c) face with (e/c) eyes. Her hair was super short, cut just below her ears.
"Y-you're me!"
"Duh." She sat next to Matt, who looked confused.
"Wait. Is it true that future edd is after this project echo? And if you're (y/n) from the future, why isn't he after you?"
"Because I can control it." She said, "she can't." She pointed to me.
"Not yet." I crossed my arms.
"Edd wants to defeat (y/n) in this time to prevent us from happening."
"Us? There's two of you?"
"Sort of. Alternate realities. Depends on the choice you make when he gets back. You stick where you are now, go psycho. Leave with him, control it."
When I realized what she meant, everything came crashing around me.
"So... There's an evil (y/n) out there?"
"Well, she's here. In the city. Red leader traveled to this reality's future to get echo on his side to stop me from joining edd."
"But future edd wants you dead."
"He wants you dead to prevent any of this happening." She pointed at me.
"But what does this have to do with us?" Tom asked.
"This has everything to do with you, spike. Her decision to either leave or stay will decide the fate of both me and red leader." She answered.
"This makes no sense. She's the one who decides it?"
"All because my father experimented on me..." I muttered.
"(Y/n).." Tom said, putting his hand on mine.
"I'm not telling you what to do. Just know that it will effect a lot of things."
"No pressure." I scoffed.
"You think you're smart, don't you?" Future Edd's voice rang out, we all standing to see him a few feet away. This time, he wasn't alone. A woman dressed exactly like my future self was beside him, her hair long and wild, her eyes purple.
"Echo."
