"You okay (y/n)?" Edd asked. I shook my head. It had been at least a week since I had that nightmare, but the thoughts of her still linger and I can see her in the mirror. I've lost sleep, not to mention the constant nightmares. And with Sophie out of the house for the weekend, the empty house isn't helping. And I sure wasn't going to ask Edd if I could stay over. I mean, with Tom wanting to be close to me and Tord's strange warning it would be an awkward situation. Speaking of Tord...
"Edd? Can I... Ask you something?"
"Go ahead." He said, sipping from his cola can.
"What's Tord's deal?"
"What do you mean?"
"He... Um gives off weird vibes."
"Is it bad?"
"N-no. He's really unreadable."
"Well that's how he is. Ever since I met him. You should give him a chance. He seems interested in you."
"Really? I couldn't tell."
"The way he looked after he walked in on you and Tom? That was jealousy."
"Y-you're saying Tord's interested in me Romantically?"
"I don't know. But give him a chance."
"Edd. Another thing. What about Tom?"
"Tom... Is different. That's for sure."
"Right. Okay. I'm gonna go. Later Edd."
"Be careful, (y/n)." He said.
"No promises."

(3rd Person POV)
(Y/n) left, the door closing not so softly. Edd was really concerned. He may not know her as well as the others, but he still cared.
"Edd, was that (y/n)?" Matt asked, walking in.
"Yeah. She was asking about Tord."
"Why?"
"She really didn't give me a reason." Edd responded, "Tom still hiding in his room?"
"Yep." Matt answered, looking in the direction of  Tom's room.
"Im worried."
"You and I both."

I sighed, trying to forget about echo. It was hard, but maybe a swim in the pool will help. I walked outside, pulling the sliding door open and feeling the warm summer night breeze. The moon was full, casting a glow on the water. I pulled my silk robe off, slipping into the water. It wasn't warm, but it wasn't cold either. I sank below the water, just enough to breathe. My thoughts swarmed my mind, everything from telling Tom that I was forced to move from my hometown to suddenly seeing echo again. Luckily it was just in my dreams and the mirror. There was no way she was getting out. Not since last time. My inner musings were interrupted by a Norwegian voice.
"Can I join you?"
My head popped out of the water to see Tord standing just a few feet from me.
"Sure, why not?" I shrugged, curious as to what he was up to. He immediately stripped off his black shirt, revealing his bare chest. I couldn't help but stare, he being completely ripped. Scars lined his chest, some fresher than others. His hands then unzipped his jeans, kicking them off along with his jeans. I tried not to stare too long, looking back up at his Auburn eyes. He jumped into the pool, causing a small splash before emerging in front of me.
"So. Any particular reason you're swimming so late?" He asked.
"Couldn't sleep." Was my answer. He raised a brow, but didn't push it.
"I could ask you the same, you know. Why are you here?"
"Let me be honest, (y/n). The moment I laid my eyes on you, I was intrigued. The girl who has a mysterious past. Keeps to herself. Let's just say I'm interested in you." He got closer so our waists touched. Edd was right. But I didn't know how to feel about it though. I've only known this man for over a week. He was shrouded in mystery, more than I was.
"I-interested? Like..."
"Like I'm drawn to you. These.. temptations are too much."
"O-oh."
"(Y/n)." God, he saying my name lit a fire in me. His hand was on my waist, the other running up my bare stomach and causing me to shiver.
"T-tord, I-"
"Sorry. I didn't mean to-"
"No! I was gonna say I usually don't do this..."
"Don't worry. I'll be gentle. Unless you... Wanted me to stop?"
Gathering all my courage and composure, I pressed my lips against his. I could feel him smiling.
"No. Don't stop." I said, he kissing me and pushing me against the wall of the pool. There was no going back now, not ever.
