Chapter 10-Freedom

Arra's POV

Amber: Ate, dad's looking for you. Ate? Ate, mukhang pagod ka na, go sleep na. I'll tell dad that you're resting na.
Arra: No it's okay I'll go to dad na. Where is he?
Amber: He's in his study

I have 3 quizzes tomorrow, plus 2 papers to work on, and 4 essays to write. That's my school work. For my actual job at my dad's company: I have to finish a proposal for a new commercial for McDonald's. My dad owns an Advertising Company, he used to run the company with my mom, so since she's gone, I have to learn how to do things around here. Like Drake's song Started From The Bottom, I really started from the bottom of the company and I'm slowly making my way up.

Arra: Dad?
Arra's Dad: Princess come in, how are you?
Arra: I'm fine dad, why'd you call for me?
Arra's Dad: I'm firing you sweetie.
Arra: WHAT??? Dad what did I do wrong? I'll do better I swear!!
Arra's Dad: No princess listen to me. I'm firing you because I've seen your full potential already, and I know you can do well if I go. You've got too much on your plate already and I know you want to spend more time with Thomas, and you want to be a normal teenager. I'll let you back in the company after you graduate.
Arra: Dad is this for real?
Arra's Dad: Yes princess, leave the McDonald's ad to me. Go sleep and study well okay? *kisses Arra's forehead*
Arra: Thank you Dad, I love you

I don't know what to feel. Should I feel happy? Happy that I get to live a normal-non-workaholic life? Or sad that I'm not doing the thing that makes me happy and makes me feel like I'm actually worth something?

*calling thomas torres*

Ara's POV
Thomas: Ara!!!!!!!!
Ara: (Napaka lakas naman sumigaw ng panget na to nakakahiya sa mga tao dito sa kfc) Tumahimik ka nga!!
Thomas: Sorry pero ang saya ko!!!
Ara: Bakit ba??
Thomas: Hindi na magwowork si Arra!!! That means she gets to spend more time with me!!
Ara: Mahal mo talaga siya no?
Thomas: More than myself. She brightens up my day. Makes all my imperfections, sort of perfect. Fills in all my wrongs and turns them into good things. Alam mo yung mahal mo siya dahil sa buong pagkatao niya? Lahat ng flaws niya lahat ng kagandahan niya
Ara: (Calling 911, nasaksak ata puso ko wait lang po. Masakit, sabihin ba naman ng mahal mo na mahal niya iba sheeeeeet pengeng ambulansya) Edi nakuha mo na yung gusto mo dati, yung love na hinihingi mo
Thomas: What do you mean?
Ara: Diba dati, sabi mo gusto mo ng love na kaya mo ipagsigawan sa mundo, ayan nakuha mo na. Bakit ka ba kasi nagdradrama nun haha.
Thomas: I guess I did get that kind of love I was looking for. Hindi ko na maalala kelan yan
Ara: Nung pumunta ka sa bahay ng anong oras na tapos niyaya mo ako sa park!!!
Thomas: AHHHH sorry pala dun ha naabala kita. Kasi si Lolo, nalaman namin na may other family pala, na hindi lang si Lola, nagalit si Papa ayun we never visited again. Ayan na yung explanation mo hehe sorry late
Ara: Thom, hindi ko alam na ganun pala sorry
Thomas: Okay lang Ars
Ara: Galit ka rin ba sa Lolo mo?
Thomas: Hindi nagmahal lang naman siya eh nagpakatanga nga lang din. Dapat hiniwalayan niya na lang si Lola kesa pagtaksilan niya. Nung una medyo may galit ako pero nung nakikala ko si Arra naintindihan ko na rin ng kaunti si Lolo na pag nainlove ka nako tanga ka talaga
Ara: (Medyo masakit po talaga) Tanga ka naman talaga dati pa eh
Thomas: Hoy! Wag ka nga ganyan! Haha.
Ara: At least diba you get to spend more time with her na.
Thomas: Oo nga eh kasi recently sobrang busy na niya, halos once, twice a week ko lang siya nakakasama

Thomas's POV
Thomas: Babe!
Arra: Hi! *hug*
Thomas: Sa wakas solo na kita!
Arra: Babe may class pa ako in 30 mins
Thomas: Ay
Arra: But if you want punta ka sa bahay later?
Thomas: Sige *pout*
Arra: Flappy bird is that you?
Thomas: No it's 2048.
Arra: Haha funny ka kumain ka na nga!

After ilang minutes umalis na siya naiwan na ako dito sa Coffee Bean haaaay

Jeron: Uy paps!!
Thomas: Uy
Jeron: Bakit mag-isa ka lang?
Thomas: Kakaalis lang ni Arra
Jeron: Walang training?
Thomas: No, no Arra de Chavez
Jeron: Ahhh akala ko si Ara Galang. Himala nakasama mo si Doll ngayon
Thomas: Oo nga eh, I get to spend to more time with her na since she has no job na
Jeron: What tito fired her?!
Thomas: Yeah pero babalik daw siya after college. Pero paps parang hindi niya ako priority lagi
Jeron: Wag mo isipin yan. Syempre studies muna diba? Iparamdam mo lang na mahal mo siya.
Thomas: Pero paps miss ko na si Lolo
Jeron: Baka it's time to visit him, sa weekend
Thomas: Yeah maybe it's time

Ara's POV
Ang hirap mag aral pag sobrang pagod ka galing training tapos ang dami mo pang iniisip. Kamusta na kaya sila papa sa Pampanga haaay

Mika: Daks bat ganyan mukha mo ganun ba talaga kahirap subject mo
Ara: Namimiss ko lang sila kuya
Mika: Uwi ka this weekend? Pwede naman diba
Ara: Talaga? Sige! Sabay na lang tayo sa bus station
