"Where's Daisy and Ash?" Luke asked, looking up at the clock hanging on the wall near the fridge.

"They should be here by now..." Michael trailed off. "We should wait outside for them."

I shrugged, "Let's go." Leading the way, the three of us walked out of the kitchen and over to the front door.

As I reached for the doorknob, the door suddenly swung open, scaring all three of us. Ashton had nudged the door open with his foot, his arms preoccupied by the girl in his arms.

"What the hèll?" Michael peered around me in confusion, green eyes wide as he stared back at Ashton.

"What happened?" Luke cried, panic filling his voice upon seeing Daisy lifeless in his arms.

"I think she fainted," Ashton gave her a small shake. "Daisy? Are you okay?"

She seemed to stir, but lost consciousness as quickly as it temporarily came back.

"Take her to the hospital!" I cried, throwing my hands up in exasperation that Ashton had been wasting time.

"The hospital? She doesn't need to go, I'm sure she's fine," Ashton rolled his eyes. "Move out the way Cal."

"No," I stood still, blocking the doorway to entering him from entering the house. "We need to take her to the hospital."

"A-Ash," Daisy croaked, eyes fluttering as she regained consciousness. "I feel... d-dizzy –"

Her head tilted to the side, hair falling over her face as she lent against Ashton's shoulder, making it obvious she had fainted for the third time.

"Hurry up Ashton. There could be something wrong," I nudged him in hopes he'd turn around and walk back to the car.

"She doesn't need to go," Ashton stubbornly argued, nudging me back as much as he could with the small girl in his arms.

"What the fück?" I shoved him back, my nostrils flaring in annoyance as I struggled to keep myself together. "Ashton you know she isn't okay."

My tone was hostile for some reason, the thought of Daisy not getting the help she obviously needed earning a reaction out of me.

"Calum calm down," Michael said quietly, reaching his hand out and touching my shoulder, ready to bring me back inside.

"No, I've kept my mouth shut for long enough," I pushed Michael off of me, fists clenching at my sides as my voice raised. "What's it going to take for you to actually start caring about her? She's passed out now and you still don't care –"

"Excuse me?" Ashton interrupted, his usually clear, hazel eyes turned dark, losing their sparkle.

"Seriously Ashton, what's gotten into you? You've been a dïck to her lately."

"Guys stop," Luke tried pushing his way in between us, but I only bumped him out of the way.

"Are you trying to tell me how to raise her? Last time I checked, I adopted her and not you."
