Rj's fever broke about three hours after he was admitted. He had developed a cough and vomited a little. Maine helped the nurses change him out of his clothes and into a hospital gown. Exhaustion finally set in and she fell asleep beside him with her head resting on the bed while she sat on the chair.
Rj regained consciousness and felt Maine's fingers in his hand. He looked down at her and smiled. He closed his eyes again and was asleep in no time.

The following morning, Maine's and Rj's family were in the hospital when Rj opened his eyes.
"...good morning...." Maine said smiling at him. She ran her fingers through his hair.
"...good morning.....what happened? Where am I?"
"....you're in the hospital...."
"Hospital?"
"Your fever rose to 40° and you were delirious.....ilang beses ka din sumuka...."
"Hmm....."
"...oo, Rj...." Tita MaryAnn approached the bed.
"Good morning po, Tita...."
"Good morning....sabi ni Maine, si Angel at Virgie ang kasama mo sa bahay....pauwi na si Ricky tomorrow..."
"....nasa Singapore si Dad....si Riza...."
"....nakauwi na sya kagabi....galing Batangas....bumaba lang kasama ni Dean....magpagaling ka...."
"Opo...thank you po...."
"Love....how did I get here?" Rj asked.
"....I brought you here...."
"How?"
"Uber...."
Maine sat down on Rj's bedside and recounted some of the events that happened the previous day. Rj just nodded. "...when can I go home?"
