CHAPTER 1

Shawn's POV

"It's taking its toll, deep in my soul.
Now I've got to let go.
Coz we wrote our story and we sung our song.
We hung our pictures on the wall.
Now those precious moments that we carved in stone are only memories after all."

Even as the last notes of the piano fade away, the 80,000 people in the crowd are silent, still feeling the music and the song lingers on. I let it, because it gives me a chance to compose myself and not let on that I've been crying.

"Thank you," I say into the mic a few moments later. It makes my fans go crazy and the spell is broken.

The silence can't have been longer than 10 seconds, if that, but it felt like hours. No, it felt endless.

I tell myself the concert will be over soon. Only 10 more minutes. I only have to get through a few more songs. But when I go to the back of the stage where there's a spotlight shining on my water bottle and the setlist, I'm not so sure. My final 4 songs are: 'Act Like you Love Me'
'Bring It Back'
'Bad Reputation' and
'I Know what you did Last Summer'

Singing 'Memories' has already gotten me emotional enough. All four of those final songs were written at different points in my rocky relationship with my ex girlfriend. She's a fellow celebrity, which somehow makes it a lot harder than breakups with non-famous people.

I decide to sing my most cheesy, generic songs to avoid any more thoughts of Camila, which means I've changed the setlist last minute (something I know I'll get in trouble for later).

After 3 switched songs, I decide to stick with 'IKWYDLS' because then I might not get in as much trouble.

"Okay guys. For the final song of the night, I'm gonna need a fan to help me!" I try and fail to stop the screams, which subsequently go on for a good few minutes.

"Who wants to help me sing I Know What You Did Last Summer?" I ask when it gets quiet enough. I expect another round of screaming, but hardly anyone cheers and instead they all gasp. "How about you?," I ask one fan at the front on the left side. She shakes her head no and tries to hide her face.

"Come on guys, be brave!" I say looking around, embarrassed at how it seems like nobody wants to sing with me.

"I'll do it!" One bold fan says from somewhere on the other side to where I'm standing.

"Okay great! Come on up," I say, looking around to see who spoke. I see the security guard talking to someone, but he's blocking their face so I can't see them properly. I don't know what they're saying, but in the end I see him shaking his head and then helping her onto the stage, so I start stepping backwards in order to welcome her onto the stage.

I start to smile at the fan, but then she walks out of the shadows and the smile is immediately wiped from my face. What is she playing at?

I'm not at all happy to see her, but everyone else in Wembley Stadium seems to be. They start chanting her name.

"CAMILA! CAMILA! CAMILA! CAMILA!"

She waves to them all with a butter-wouldn't-melt kind of smile. Then she looks at me and mouths "I know exactly what you did last summer." She smirks.

No. No no no. She's planning something. She's gonna tell them all, isn't she. Camila Cabello is about to ruin my career.

"Well," I drawl, trying to keep the poison out of my voice, "this is a nice surprise."

Everyone cheers. Then comes the inevitable: "ARE YOU GUYS BACK TOGETHER?"

We both ignore that.

A tech guy runs on with a mic for the scheming, malicious cow in front of me and she takes it gleefully.

Camila proceeds to lick her lips in that way of hers, drawing out the suspense, before she asks me,"So are we singing or what?"

Glaring at her and not caring who sees, I strum the first chord. I can't let her see I'm relieved, I've just got to act natural. But as soon as the show is over I will make her regret this little stunt. This girl has a lot to answer for.

Heya. Here's the first chapter! I hope you like it. The next one will hopefully be up really soon!

Luv ya, Kass xx
