I cried for weeks afterwards. There wasn't a single aspect of my life that didn't remind me of her. I've gone off Oats & More Clusters and Krave, which used to be my favourite cereals, but they were also hers. I can't listen to my favourite playlists without my eyes immediately going prickly with tears, remembering all the times we danced around and did karaoke and shows together. I don't drink Coke anymore (unless it's mixed with alcohol), since it reminds me of that time she was drinking it and I made her laugh; she spat it out all over my light blue Track hoodie. I had to leave my English lesson because we were studying her favourite play - Romeo and Juliet and I just got really emotional.
There wasn't a single aspect of my life that didn't remind me of her, until I found the mask.
