You tried to sleep but you couldn't. This was all new and strange and slightly scary. Your mom and Tony were the only people who knew about Strife. But they wouldn't send you flowers and a creepy note. You sighed and got up to check the time, it was 11: 45 PM. 'Wow I was thinking for a long time', you thought as you rubbed your eyes and walked out of your room. You put your hair up in a messy but cute bun and walked to the lab. There you found a tired Bruce working on something. You walked over to him and put your hands over his eyes, "Guess who". "Is it y, n?", Bruce asked jokingly. You chuckled, "Correct, whatcha working on?", you asked sitting on the desk, by his work. He looked at you smiling, "I took some DNA from the Katana you brought, I'm going to use it to track down Strife". You felt yourself freeze, you had to think of a way to distract him. "Why don't you take a break?", you asked, scooching over to him. "I'm almost done with it if you want to hang out later", he said taking a tube or red stuff and putting it on a paper. You could not under any circumstances let him find out who strife was. You looked on his desk to find an empty glass tube. You got an idea, you used your powers to break the glass quietly and dragged against your hand and fell on the floor," Oww!". He stopped what he was doing and went over to you," What happened? Are you ok?!", he asked. You sniffled (falsely) and showed him your hand," Sorry I broke your beaker". " It's fine, just let me fix your hand", he said carefully holding your hand and walking over to get some medical stuff. He led you to a chair and started cleaning off your hand. As much as you did this to distract him, you didn't mind the attention. How caring he was with you, how gentle he was and kind and so so handsome... and the fact that you're staring at him. And he's looking at you... Wait what!?! He saw you. You shook your head, your face getting red," Sorry I didn't mean to stare I was lost in a thought", you said looking down. "It's alright y, n", he said wiping the blood off your hand and wrapped it up. You smiled at him, "Thank you". "No problem, I'll take a break with you now, so what do you want to do?", he asked standing up and helping you up. "We could watch a movie", you suggested as you both walked out of the lab. "Sure, but you pick", he said as he walked to the kitchen to make popcorn. You sat down and found the fast and furious, minutes later he walked in and you started the movie. You slowly put your head on his shoulder and snuggled next to him. He smiled at you a blushed lightly and put his arm around you.

The movie ended and Bruce was fast asleep. He had dark circles underneath his eyes as if he hasn't gotten sleep in a while. You kissed his forehead and quietly walked to his lab. You went over to the computer that had your DNA and started to work on it. You were almost done when you felt a tap on your shoulder. Your hair went purple and you shot whoever it was with an energy bolt. It was Tony. "Shoot sorry tony, I didn't know it was you, I got scared and I just reacted. He got up and cleaned himself off, "Don't worry y,n no harm was done", he said as he looked at the computer, "Erasing files?". You sighed, "He found DNA on the katana that is owned by strife", you said. "What's the problem then?", he asked while he started to help delete the files. "Remember, I'm Strife, I made a cover story so that he didn't find out but now he's sworn to find and defeat Strife", you said blowing a piece of hair out of your face. "I think you should come clean to him", Tony said looking away from the computer and turning to you. "About Strife?", you asked, "He would kill me". "About both things, y, n, not just Strife, and he won't kill you", he said. You blushed, "What's the other thing?". "It's obvious y, n you like him. He never leaves his lab. Even Nat couldn't get him out, but you got him out easily. You literally tamed the beast", he said, "And we can all tell he likes you back". You looked at him and sighed, "I don't know if it's a good idea", you said running your hand through your hair. Tony walked up to you and hugged you, something he rarely did to anyone, "You are one of the most badass people know, don't worry, if anything just call me and I'll help you out. ", he said ruffling your hair. You chuckled and fixed your hair, "Thanks, Tony". "No problem, y, n, knock em dead", he said walking out of the lab. You sighed and ran back to your room and fixed your hair, brushed your teeth and made sure you looked presentable. You walked back to the living room and saw him sleeping peacefully. You didn't want to wake him, but you didn't need to because the alarm went off, signaling something bad had happened. Bruce jumped awake and before running to meet the other Avengers. You stopped him, "Bruce", you said quietly. He paused and walked back over to you, "What is it?", he asked politely.
