I woke up as consciousness was slowly allowing me to be aware of my surroundings. I moan as I shifted my body noticing the dull ache in my head. My vision was starting to become clear, and I could see someone sitting in a chair across the room.
"My head hurts" I slurred out.
"That is a common side effect to the drug. I wish I didn't have to drug you so much, but you're just so content in leaving me." Lucian told me as he scrabble around the room for something.
"If you were not so content in being a major pain in my ass, you wouldn't have to drug me." I countered sarcastically. Lucian opened his hand to exposed two tiny, brown pills. I raised an eyebrow questioning him.
"It's just ibuprofen woman." I waited a moment before I slowly took the medicine from his large hand. I popped the pills into my mouth, as Lucian handed me a glass of water.
"This isn't poison also, is it?" I asked still not trusting that he wouldn't try to poison me some more.
"No" He told me as he shook his head. I grabbed the glass, drinking down the continents. The cold water felt so good sliding down my throat in a cooling effect. I haven't realize how thirsty I was, after I was done I handed the empty glass to Lucian. I tried to sit up in the massive, soft bed only for my legs to be jerked back with the sound of chains. I throw my blanket off of my body exposing my ankles chain to the bed. Anger flashed through me in a quick second.
"Are you serious?" I screamed with shaky hands.
"This is just an insurance policy to make sure you stay here." I throw a pillow across the room at him, but he quickly darted from it. "A pillow really?" He asked with a smirk on his face.
"Suck off"
"I have something you can suck, and trust me..." I cut him off quickly as I throw a second pillow, which this time caught him by surprise. The pillow hit him dead smack in the face. I air pumped the air, and yelled.
"10 points for me." Lucian regains his balance, and pouted his lips.
"That really hurt." He said in a sad fake voice.
"Good cry me a river, now where is my sister." I said as I crossed my arms. Lucian started to take some steps toward me slowly with a sly grin forming at his lips.
"Your sister is safe with her mate."
"Why do you keep us locked up here like prisoners, or servants? I am a person you know?" Lucian stopped just a couple steps away from the bed. He stood there quietly staring at me.
"What?" I yelled out. I needed to find an escape from this crazy man; I adjusted my body suddenly feeling the sting in my neck. My hand immediately touched the side he marked, I winched in pain. The memories of him marking me without permission flash through my mind.
"You bastard. You marked me, without permission. I swear I will kill you, and you dirty side kick of a dog." I yelled with venom spitting through each word. Lucian tilted his head, and let out a breath of frustrated air.
"You are mine, and I have a right to mark my mate. Especially when she runs away each time she gets a chance."
"Who would blame me? You're a crazy lunatic who kidnaped me, and let's not forget my dear sister. Claim me as yours, and to think I saved your life. "I proudly pointed out, sticking a finger at him.
"You were the one to run me over, let's not forget that." He said in a mimicking voice that annoyed the crap out of me.
"You ran out in front of my car." I mumbled as my eyes scanned the room for an escape. Lucian must have heard my smart remark because he started to laugh a throaty deep laugh.
"My dear mate, you are so sassy. As much as I enjoy our chat I must attend to some kingly duties. I will be back in a hour, and we can grab something to eat." Oh no he can't leave me locked up to this bed; I quickly thought something up as he turned his back to me.
"Wait." Lucian glanced back staring at me with his gorgeous eyes which take my breath away for a second.
"I have to pee really bad Lucian." I said pouting, he looked me up, and down.
"I will send someone up to help you." He said as he walked out of the door.
I was all by myself in this huge room, with nothing close by to help with escape. I tried everything I could think of, but the chain was unbreakable. My head jerked out as I heard the door open slowly.
"Gen thank God I found you." Cas said in a low tone as she ran up to me. She looked down towards the chains "He chained you up, what a jerk!"
"I know, and I'm so glad to see you. Find something to set me free." She nodded, and went searching around the room.
"I'm starving." I decleared. Casey nodded her head.
"After we free you lets raid the kitchen, and escape." Kitchen, escape and maybe find Lucian, and stick a where the sun don't shine.
"Sounds good Cas."
"Yes." Casey exclaimed as she jiggled some keys. She walked over, and started to unlock the chains.
"wait how you escape?" I asked.
"Mmm, I um made out with Caleb, and sort of hit him over the head with a lamp."
"Nice job sister!"
"I learned from the best, there you're free." I wiggled out of the chains, and stand up stretching my legs.
"Oh my God, Gen he marked you!" She practically yelled while pointing he index finger towards the big bite mark on my neck.
"Yeah, it ok just a little tender." Cas started to shake her head.
"No it's not; he can find you no matter where you are now." She announced.
"I know, let's eat then plan a route of escape. I think I have a plan." I announced as we slowly exited the room.
