Evan's POV
I pulled myself off the floor when I heard a loud crash! Just as I went to the window to see what had happened, mum called us from downstairs,"Evan!Eve!Come on down, we're going SHOPPING!" I sighed, whenever mum says it like that, I know we'll be at the shopping centre all day. Eve was already heading downstairs, but I paused, my hands still resting on the windowsill. I took a quick glance out of the window, there was nothing"hmm, strange..." I said to myself, I sighed again, and went downstairs, my heavy stomps echoing in the empty hallway.
Jonathan's POV
I managed to hide behind a bush in the nick of time, just as Evan peered out of the window, his gorgeous eyes searching for me amongst the autumn leaves. He left and I came out of my hiding spot. I crept round to the front of the house, watching Evan and his sister climb into their car. I licked my lips and felt my fangs with my tongue, I blushed with embarrassment as my heart yearned to kiss him and drink his blood, again.
Evan's POV
As I got into the car, I felt a pair of eyes watching me, I turned and saw no one. Eve watched me carefully as I got in and placed her hand on my lap. The car started and we were off. The empty fields surrounded us, as we drove to the city. The wind blew through the window and tousled my hair, I closed my eyes and felt nothing but happiness and love.
Jonathan's POV
I ran after the speeding car. My legs aching, my heart burning too. As it sped off I forced my body to go faster, to follow him...Was it my vampire strength powering me, or my desire to be with him?
