Jonathan's POV
"I can't believe Eve really left." Evan said sitting next to me on the edge of the lake.
"I know, I thought she loved Craig." I whispered softly.
"Eve does, she knows she does, and thats why she ran away. She didn't want to see him with his heart broken."
"But why?"
"Why what?"
"Why break his heart?"
"Eve wants to be free, free to run, free to love but Craig was like a chain to her. She wanted to break that chain early before things go to serious."
"That reminds me," I got up and knelt on one knee, Evan was breathless,"Evan, will you make me, the happiest vampire alive?"
"Yes! YES! YESS! A MILLION TIMES YES!" Evan grabbed the ring and put it on, squealing as he kissed me with all the passion in the world,"We should tell the others." He said and we dashed off hand in hand to the house...
Time Skip.
David's POV
Everyone sat around the dining table, Jonathan took a nervous breath,"I have something to say-"
"WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!" Evan's shout echoed throughout the house, I giggled,
"Is something funny David?" Jonathan asked,
"Yeah, cause me and Amber are getting married too." It was flat, sure, but even that made Amber shrink up in embarrassment, Evan and Jonathan cheered.
"WHY ARE YOU ALL SO HAPPY?!" Craig shouted,"EVE'S STILL GONE!"
Amber hugged him,"I know, and we will find her Craig, but just try and be positive. I have a very good reason for you to be."
Amber's POV
It was too heartbreaking that morning to see Eve gone, but being her best friend I knew she'd return if I told her something important.
A: Eve?
E: Don't text me. I'm not coming back.
A: Not even for mine and your brother's wedding?
E: WHAT?!
A: Yeah, David proposed and so did Jonathan to Evan. We're having a double wedding tomorrow evening, nothing special.
E: THIS IS SUPER SPECIAL!!
A: Well? Are you coming?
E: Will Craig be there?
A: Duh! But we'll keep you out of sight.
E: Fine! But I'm leaving afterwards.
A: ok.
It was perfect! Eve and Craig was a-go! I hoped we could get them married so Eve wouldn't leave, but if she did. Well, she had eternity to come back...
