Jonathan's POV
We all sat on the sofas as Evan stumbled over the conversation we'd had last night,"I couldn't bare to leave you," He said to Eve," And to see all these amazing people you call friends, I knew you couldn't leave them forever." Eve nodded glancing around the room at her friends. Evan placed his hand on my lap,"Jonathan suggested turning you all, it was the only choice."
Amber's POV
"So now what? We all live here? What about our families?" I asked, realisation set in. Panic flooded over me, as everyone turned my way, I buried myself into David who chuckle,"Its ok daddy has you my little baby." I flushed red and hit him. He laughed harder. Evan laughed as he spoke,"Well, you're all eighteen right? You could just say your moving with friends for college. But well, you won't need college since you don't age." We nodded collectively, it was all going to be fine, right?
Eve's POV
I was ready for this! Eternity with my best friends and living in such a gorgeous house! No school, no parents, we could do ANYTHING! I sprung up,"Come on! We should go hunting!"
David's POV
The group ducked into the woods, Jonathan leading us. Crouching in the bushes, Jonathan whispered instructions."Everyone go after an animal, pierce its vein and let the blood flow into these flasks. BUT DON'T TAKE TOO MUCH. Go until the animal gets weak and nearly passes out. Then stop. We'll meet back here once everyone has filled a flask. Ok?" We all nodded. The whole vampire thing was daunting, drinking blood, living forever. We couldn't go back. We were trapped.
Craig's POV
Everyone split up. I watched as David charged after bunnies, Eve scrambled at scurrying squirrels and Amber danced in the shadows, slowly stalking a deer in a patch of grass. I looked around at the animals and decided to go after squirrels with Eve. We were spending eternity together, so best get used to her. I couldn't wait to go on hunts together for humans, have elaborate balls with poofy dresses and cans of hairspray. I wanted the glamorous, rich life of a vampire like in the movies and books. Eve was clawing at a tree, trying to get a chubby squirrel on a branch. I felt like I could reach it, by jumping. A new sense of power surged through me as I leaped and grabbed the squirrel. Woah. Evan saw our shock and nodded,"As you can see, there are many powers you'll now possess. Super strength and speed, even a strange allure to humans. You will also find you all have a certain power that makes you different. Jonathan is a coven leader, he can make humans feel safe in the presence of vampires. I am like a coven dad, I can keep vampires calm in dangerous situations. Eve is mischievous vampire who will most likely be able to lie extremely well and get away with more things. Craig and David are common energetic vampires with amazing sporting abilities, like jumping and tackling. And finally, Amber is a hunting vampire, she has deep set stalking and hiding abilities, and can also sense heartbeats better than others. All of you will get used to your differences and learn to use them together, soon we will order set jobs to certain vamps based on these abilities." Evan paused and looked around, Amber was collecting from the deer, still listening. I was clutching a squirrel and Eve another. David was standing alone watching, I couldn't believe it, we had special abilities different from the others, it was like one big football team. We were all players.
